My father is a fiercely independent man who always did things for himself. Since my mother passed away 2 years ago, he had become very lonely but would still refuse any help. I am so grateful to the Manager and experienced carers who have treated him with complete respect and empathy allowing him to maintain his independence with some assistance once a day. No amount of positive praise is enough for GoodOaks and I would absolutely recommend them to everyone. Thank you!

My siblings and I are so happy with the care GoodOaks provide to our Dad. Initially they started with respite care but this increased to daily care as Dad warmed to the regular carers very quickly. I want to recommend the Goodoaks Homecare provider. They are the most efficient and professional care provider I have used in Bedford. Their communication is especially commendable, both to the client and to myself as the finance provider, sending timely and accurate invoices. They have been able to find very suitable carers for my daughter and to accommodate the specific time requirements. My father had a stroke in Nov 2023. He was discharged from hospital with 3 x a day care. The original care agency were not reliable and it was causing a lot of stress and anxiety for my parents. I contacted Good Oaks after seeing reviews online and from the first encounter with the manager, I felt reassured by her warmth and kindness. Good Oaks have made such a difference to both my parents- they turn up on time, are reliable, compassionate and efficient. Within just a short while, the carers have become like part of the family. The team at Goodoaks supported my mother in the last 3 months of her life, working together with a live-in carer to provide additional care during her final weeks. I subsequently contacted the director and indeed their kindness and professionalism was palpable. The director and manager guided me through the process with empathy and efficiency. From the initial assessment to the tailored care plan, every step was handled with utmost consideration for my mother's needs. They showed great compassion when she was in pain, treating her with dignity and respect to the end. They genuinely exceeded my expectations and provided a sense of reassurance and peace of mind at a very challenging time.
