It's really been the little things that have made such a massive difference, such as using the same words, gestures and keeping to routine that really helps and supports our auntie.
They are easy to approach and are on hand to change the care plan or just give reassurance that we are doing OK.
The regular check-ins to see how things are going gives that extra touch which is lovely.
Using Horizons has given time back to us as a family which is priceless and has avoided carer burnout. We feel safe knowing our auntie is receiving the best possible care and attention.

I would thoroughly recommend Horizons Homecare for your loved one. Our family found them punctual, experienced, caring and professional. We met many carers of all ages and all treated our dear mum like a good friend. We were very grateful for a free visit and assessment (either in the rehab place or at mum's home) the day following our enquiry and their support started shortly after.
I know all the care team were extremely fond of your Mum and it was a pleasure to work alongside you as a family.
Cannot thank the staff enough for their support for our mum, particularly after her recent hospital stay. Nothing is too much trouble including changing visit times and ensuring she had carers she knew well. Their patience and flexibility are commendable.

My grandma loves the company from all the girls that come. They do an amazing job and make her feel safe and well looked after. They go above and beyond for every visit and all the tasks my grandma needs doing gets done and extra jobs too.

Whilst my Nana was fully compus mentis until her final few days she required a decent level of care and Horizons didn't disappoint.
Having worked for a care company myself many years ago I can honestly say that Horizons are a level above of any care company who I have come into contact with before.
Time keeping was on point, professionalism was second to none but more importantly empathy and actual care was simply outstanding, no matter what the task!
In my nanas last few hours Horizons came to see to her. The girls were incredible and made my Nana decent and clean ready for when she passed away a couple of hours later. Not a nice task to do for anyone but the girls did it without and hesitation and did so with respect and courtesy.
I simply can not thank Horizons enough. Without a shadow of a doubt the best care company within.

I am a diabetic invalid with issues with my eyes and heating. Being old I am no longer strong and need help with shopping for essentials and going out to lunch. Horizons have provided me with this service when other provider would not. I am looked after very well my doctors at the village surgery provide me with my medical support staying alive and happy.
We can't thank Horizon Care enough. They looked after my nana in the final months of her life. The director came to have an initial visit with my nan to introduce himself and their service, get to know my nana, and build a relationship. These carers actually care, which sometimes you don't get but you can tell these carers have been so well trained but also beautiful hand picked. Care is not something you can teach but these ladies were just so compasionate and caring for my nana. Towards the end of my nanas life we needed to increase the package urgently. The director made sure this happened. He did everything he could to meet my nans needs. He always called/ communicated any updates/ concerns. They went above and beyond. The director made sure he kept the same few carers going into my nan so she could build a relationship with them. I am a nurse myself so I know when care is good and I know what to look for. My nan passed away at home comfortable, clean and peaceful thanks to Horizon.

Friendly and professional. Every visit was a pleasure. When I first came out of hospital it was overwhelming, so my helper from Horizons was understanding and I felt we had known each other for years. Whatever I needed doing what she did with a smile. My home is clean and sparkling. Also i was good to have someone to chat with. I would recommend Horizons Homecare.

Since changing to Horizons I cannot believe the difference in my mum. She is treated with great care and respect. The carers ensure my mum is clean all the time. They also clean the house and are on top of everything. With everything they do for Mum also reflects on my dad. He is feeling much more at ease and at 86 this gives me great peace of mind. My personal opinion of the care given is as though it was each carer's own family.

The staff at Horizons have been outstanding, they treat my Grandmother so well. We have seen a positive difference in the happiness of Grandma since Horizons took over, she loves the staff! Horizons Homecare recently took over for my grandma and I am so happy they did. The difference in care to previous care is amazing. My grandma is much happier. The carers are lovely, they are punctual which creates a relaxed routine for both my grandma and grandad. With a first-class honours degree in Nutrition & Exercise Sciences from the University of Central Lancashire and a strong background in business consultancy, James is committed to making Horizons a place where exceptional care and operational excellence go hand in hand.

I started my journey in Health & Social Care in 2016, working as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities. I quickly realised this was the area I wanted to progress in and completed my Level 5 in Leadership & Management, using my skills to adapt to home care, providing care in the community.
I have been CQC registered since 2021 and love the relationships formed between clients and carers. I am passionate and thrive knowing carers are delivering the best care to people across Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre.
