Three years ago my 87 year old sister lost her husband of 65 years and completely fell apart. It was the saddest thing watching a capable, opinionated, strong woman deteriorate so rapidly. After the first six months her failing health seemed to overpower her and it was obvious that she needed more expert help to get through the days. Thank goodness I found Tobea Support Ltd and Nicola. Immediately Nicola and her team assessed the situation and suggested care visits twice daily which we agreed. Her team turned out to be well trained, efficient and more important, quickly established good relations with my sister who, over the coming months, became extremely fond of her carers. This was such a relief to me as I do not live in England and visits were not as frequent as they would be if I lived closer. My sister went on to have four bad falls and each time it was Nicola and her team who came to my rescue with the ambulance services, the stay in hospital and the return home.

Nicola and her team are amazing they stepped in when dad's illness became harder for my mum to manage. We had 24 hour live in carers who looked after dad with kindness and dignity, they also went above and beyond also looking out for mum as she also became poorly. It was the perfect outcome having live in carers instead if dad going into a home which we really didn't want for dad and he got to stay happy in his own home around what he knew.

This is an updated review as I last posted in May and sadly in November my Dad passed away.

Nicola and her team gave us additional time with our Dad which we didn't think we would get, they worked with him daily to build up his strength and give him independence back. He enjoyed their visits and loved their company.

I wanted to write another review because when my Dad went into hospital, they kept their visits going, giving us updates about his care while in hospital. Alerting us to concerns and supporting us with his care while in hospital....Nicola went above and beyond with making sure my Dad has his cold drinks, snacks and home cooked food. I will be eternally grateful personally to Nicola as throughout a difficult 10 weeks in hospital she mentally supported us.

Thanks so much to the manager and her ladies. They have been taking care of my Mum since August last year. Our family would be lost without them. They are true professionals, but with an angel's touch. The manager, is always on hand to navigate us through this difficult time, and I can't thank her enough for everything she's done for Mum and for us. I highly recommend Tobea Support to anyone looking for care for a loved one. They are truly amazing.

The manager and her team are taking exceptionally good care of my mum. Always gentle and supportive of her needs, taking time to understand her. This also extends to the family and we're immensely grateful to them all. Thanks guys, we couldn't do it without you.

I cannot recommend Tobea Support Ltd highly enough. The manager's communication was faultless and she was calm and reassuring in an ever-moving situation, despite her being away on holiday. My mum was suffering from cancer and desperately needed support. A representative was sent out to meet us, discuss our requirements and she was equally impressive. I first met the manager the day she arrived back from her trip. She was caring, compassionate and able to be flexible enough to cope with our changing circumstances. The manager and her team were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. She was very knowledgeable about the workings of the care system and assisted us beyond words. Unfortunately my mum's health deteriorated rapidly but the manager and her team adapted to her needs instantly. Despite only knowing our family for about 6 weeks, the manager attended the funeral and was invaluable. Please engage her services with confidence. We couldn't have got through this sad time without her and her staff. Thank you.

I would highly recommend Tobea Support Ltd and the manager in particular. Our mum (who was ill with cancer) deteriorated very quickly to the point where carers were needed. The manager was very personally involved in Mum's care right from the start - down to corresponding with us while she was still on holiday, and attending our first in-person meeting as soon as she was back on home soil! The manager and all her staff were great, and very kind and gentle with Mum. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were very flexible with when care was provided, and extra hours when needed. The manager was very helpful at the end of Mum's life with lots of information and personal experience to aid our journey through a very emotional experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the manager and her team to anyone needing at-home care.
