A heartfelt thank you to all for the care and support given to my mum and the family. Without your help life would have been very hard. Your kindness and professionalism shone through. Was just like you gave mum and us 'a great big hug' when we needed it most. Will be forever grateful to you all.

Linda and family.

As always, a very positive and friendly review as well as a chance to raise in person any worries or concerns which may have arisen. A very thorough and detailed conversation looking both back and ahead. I feel very well supported by Westmoreland Homecare and know that my mother is lucky to have them!

Very positive with a team selected in relation to my husband's very individual needs and support.
The team are caring, engaging and support his independence within his home.
Office staff are very responsive to requests for changes or additional help.

Management is very supportive and professional and recruitment is of the highest calibre with excellent training in place to empower staff to give their best.

Overall Experience

My husband and I are extremely satisfied with our care over the past year. The carers are very well trained and knowledgable, and my husband (who is bed-bound/wheelchair bound) really enjoys their visits. I help with my husbands care, and find this very useful as I can discuss and agree any changes we make to the care plan. The management team are always accessible and reviews clients regularly to see if the service is satisfactory. I could not see that the whole organisation could be improved!

Having been with a care provided for 6 months that were appalling, it was with great relief to find Westmorland Homecare in the Penrith area. They could not have been more helpful and professional in their care. They have met the high standard we expected for my 96 year old mother. She has provision that meets her needs and the flexibility to respond to changes in circumstances. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a company that genuinely provides great standards and care.

We got carers from Westmorland Homecare for my mum who has dementia and also for our dad at the end of his life. The care they've given has been brilliant. The carers have been kind and patient with my mum. The team have been really quick to adapt to our changing needs and offer extra support where they can.

Charlotte started working in health and social care around 7 years ago, after being inspired by the care her grandmother, who suffered with multiple sclerosis, received for many years, and the difference it made to her life. This ignited a passion for wanting to make a positive difference in people’s lives in the same way. Charlotte started out as a healthcare assistant and, through lots of hard work and training, gained her NVQ level 3 and level 5 in management for health and social care. Charlotte believes that care and support should be tailored to the individual and really enjoys being proactive and problem-solving to ensure people get the most out of their care and support. “I have worked in partnership with a wide range of clientele and professionals over the years, and have a good understanding of the huge positive impact that receiving good quality care can have on people’s lives, and I believe Westmorland Homecare truly delivers that.
