The girls are very welcoming and I always look forward to their visit. I enjoy a cup of tea with them in the morning and appreciate their support with a shower. All in all they provide a very good service and I highly recommend them.

My husband was given excellent personal care until his death this month. His care requirements were adjusted as he became more and then fully dependent for personal care. His two carers treated him with great respect and supported his dignity. I shall be forever grateful to them.

I would highly recommend Kingsley to anyone in need of care or support.

After many weeks of trying to convince my mum that it would be beneficial for her to have someone come in a couple of days a week to cook a hot meal for her. My mum is thrilled to see a smiley face on Mondays and Tuesdays, have some lovely company and a nice warm meal. This has helped both my mum and myself and taken a huge burden off my mind. I cannot thank your team enough for providing such a first class service!

Kingsley Home Care has been providing excellent care for my aunt. My aunt receives her visits at the same time and the staff are always prompt. The staff has been very accommodating when I have asked for extra help, for example, extra visits or taking my aunt to an appointment. Nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring any home care.

How long have you been in the care industry, and what led you to join Kingsley HomeCare?
I joined the care industry in 2010. I started my career as a domiciliary Care Support worker, then delved into residential, nursing and specialist Dementia care. I was then offered the opportunity to become a care coordinator and complete my Level 5 qualification; I jumped at this opportunity and came back into domiciliary care. I then progressed to a registered manager. I joined Kingsley because the Support Manager role immediately stood out to me. Having spent many years as a Registered Manager, I understand that support in that position can sometimes be limited. The opportunity to be part of a role dedicated to helping managers develop and succeed was something I was keen to be involved in.

What do you find most rewarding about working in home care?
I am passionate about supporting people to live independently in their own homes—the place where they feel most comfortable and where so many of their memories are held. I take great pride in promoting independence, as it is vital that individuals are encouraged and supported to continue doing the things they are able to.
I also value the support our care providers not only to our clients but to their families as well. It allows families to spend meaningful quality time together, while also giving them peace of mind that, when they are unavailable, their loved ones are in the safe hands of a compassionate and professional carer.

What is your vision for the future of this branch and the services it provides?
My vision is to continue supporting local communities, whether that is by meeting care needs or contributing to local initiatives and charities. I am committed to making a positive difference both through high-quality care and by actively supporting the wider community.

What are your hobbies and passions outside of Kingsley?

I don’t get a lot of time for hobbies, but family is always my priority. Spending time with the people I love is my biggest passion. That can be baking cakes or just watching TV. I do have a big love for music, and you can often find me and my daughter singing and dancing in the garden.
