The super supportive visits helped to make my mother's final months comfortable and gave her confidence. More than carers, they became trusted friends. I first had support from Good Oaks in Dec 2024. They were a very new company then, but the support I received at home was exceptional. I am now relying on Good Oaks support again. The company is deservedly much busier and has grown considerably. I am delighted to say that this has made no difference to the quality of the care they offer. Their mission statement includes that they intend to provide the kind of care they would want their own families to have and I'm pleased to say that they have maintained this level of care even with the expansion of the company. Emergency full day 15 hour care arranged for my mother with her two carers.
All arranged in 24 hours to cover the one day absence of her full time Live in Carer.
They actually stayed the entire 15 hours together and my Mum enjoyed companionship, kind and compassionate care and all her needs were attended to.
I have no hesitation in recommending Good Oaks Homecare and will definitely use them again should a similar need arise.

I began my career in Health and Social Care later in life, following a successful career in the retail sector. Eight years ago, I decided it was time for a change — and I only wish I had made the move sooner. I started as a Care Professional and progressed to the role of Care Coordinator/Scheduler.
I thoroughly enjoy working with our clients in the local community and am committed to ensuring they receive high-quality, person-centred care delivered with dignity and respect, allowing them to stay in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible.
