About me:

I’m Bethany, I’m 30 years old and have lived locally to Northampton my entire life. I enjoy music concerts (particularly country music), Formula One racing ( I love a Grand Prix) and all things Disney. I live with my husband and our French bulldog, Reggie, whom I’m obsessed with.
Background:

I started my journey in social care when I was 21 and still believe it’s one of the best decisions I ever made. When I started in the care sector, I wasn’t sure what path I wanted to take, but having the opportunities to learn and progress within roles really gave me the love for being part of the care team. I started as a scheduler, mainly working on rota’s and ensuring all service user visits were covered. I then moved on to being a care coordinator and became more involved with taking service user enquiries for care packages, setting up new care packages, ensuring client consistency and assisting with On-Call duties. I then moved on to my next Care Coordinator role that was heavily service user/front-line based. I spent a lot of time supporting clients, helping to conduct assessments and ensuring care plans were up to date. I quickly progressed to the Service Manager role, where I was very involved with the running of all care management duties, compliance and overseeing our staff team.
My Motivation:

I had some personal experiences that really pushed my love for the care sector. This showed me another perspective, knowing how families felt when going through something altering life and knowing how overwhelming and difficult it can be. Using my own experiences really pushes me to give as much support as I can to those going through the start of their own care journey, right through their support. My motivation is to be able to instil the confidence within the people we support, accepting care and support can be daunting, I want people to know that they can trust our service so that nobody ever feels alone or afraid.
My Focus:

My focus is to ensure that my service provides the highest standard, highest quality, effective person-centred care to each of our service users. Ensuring each person is treated as an individual and able to continue to live their lives as they wish.

As Superintendent Pharmacist and Care Director, I bring over 15 years of healthcare experience to our home care service. My role is to ensure every aspect of care is delivered with professionalism, safety, and compassion.
Background:

I began my career as a community pharmacist before progressing into leadership roles across several healthcare organisations. This journey has given me a strong foundation in patient care, compliance, and quality management.
My Motivation:

I believe every individual deserves care that is consistent, respectful, and compassionate. Knowing that our work has a positive impact on clients and families is what drives me every day.
My Focus:

I am committed to supporting clients with a wide range of needs – from companionship and daily living support to complex care. I also prioritise compliance, quality monitoring, and mentoring our care teams to ensure the highest standards are met.

With over 15 years in healthcare leadership, I am proud to serve as Care Director of our Northamptonshire service. My background as a qualified pharmacist, with a Master’s degree from UCL, has provided me with a strong foundation in healthcare, compliance, and patient safety.

I began my career in pharmacy, developing expertise in clinical practice and patient care before moving into leadership roles. This experience enables me to bring a clear focus on safe, consistent, and effective care delivery across our services.
My Motivation:

I believe that high-quality care is about more than clinical support — it is about dignity, respect, and compassion. My motivation is to ensure every client feels valued and supported, while empowering our staff to provide outstanding care.
My Focus:

I am committed to person-centred care planning, supporting clients to live independently at home, and ensuring our staff have the training and professional development they need. I also place great importance on building trusted relationships with families and the wider community.
