Have you heard of the Havering Energy Doctor? ????

Hi everyone,

With the weather turning a bit colder lately, we wanted to share a really helpful local resource we’ve come across for anyone living in Havering (Hornchurch, Romford, Upminster, Rainham, etc.).

It’s a service called the Havering Energy Doctor, and it’s completely FREE for all residents over the age of 18.

As part of our work supporting families in the area, we often see how much of a difference a warm, snug home makes to someone’s well-being. We know that the "heating vs. eating" choice is a real worry for many neighbors right now, so we wanted to make sure this service was on your radar.

What they can do for you (at no cost):

Stop the draughts: They can draught-proof your windows and doors to keep the heat inside where it belongs.

Quick fixes: They’ll fit energy-saving LED bulbs and install radiator foils to help your heating work better.

Safety checks: They can provide nightlights and timer switches.

Expert advice: If you’re struggling with damp or mould, they can offer professional guidance on how to tackle it.
