We’ve Been Shortlisted (Again!) for the HealthInvestor Awards 2026

We’re delighted to share some exciting news. Unique Senior Care has been shortlisted for the HealthInvestor Awards 2026 in the Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year category, for the second time.

The HealthInvestor Awards are one of the most respected events in the UK health and social care sector. They recognise organisations that demonstrate high standards of care, innovation, and leadership. To be shortlisted again is a meaningful moment for our whole team. It reflects the continued focus we place on delivering thoughtful, high-quality care for the people and families who trust us with their support.

At the heart of this achievement is our team of Caregivers, Managers, Coordinators, and support staff. Our Caregivers build trusted relationships with clients day to day, providing compassionate, person-centred support in people’s homes. Their work helps individuals maintain independence, dignity, and confidence in their daily lives.

Our Care Managers work closely with families to plan, review, and adapt care as needs change. This helps ensure every client receives the right support at the right time. Behind the scenes, our office and support teams keep everything running smoothly. From coordinating visits to supporting Caregivers, they make sure families always have someone to turn to when guidance is needed.

Every role plays a part in making sure care is not only professional and reliable, but also personal and respectful. This recognition reflects the shared commitment, teamwork, and kindness that runs through the organisation.

Alongside delivering care, we continue to look at ways to make support more accessible and easier to understand for families facing difficult decisions. Over the past year, this has included developing new digital resources, expanding our Care Advice Hub, and creating more video content to answer common questions about home care and help people understand their options more clearly.

We have also continued to invest in staff development, training, and community work. This includes dementia-friendly programmes and partnerships with local organisations that support people to live well in their own communities.

Being shortlisted is not only a milestone for Unique Senior Care as an organisation. It also reflects the trust placed in us by our clients, their families, and the wider community. We are especially grateful to the families who welcome us into their homes and trust us to support someone close to them. Choosing care at home is not always an easy decision, and we do not take that responsibility lightly.
