A Wonderful Seaside Trip to New Brighton.

A recent community outing to New Brighton proved to be a joyful and memorable experience for all involved, supported by Radfield Home Care’s Community Engagement Team.

Residents and staff from Remember Me Adult Day Centre enjoyed a fantastic day at one of the region’s most iconic seaside destinations. The trip sparked cherished memories, with many reminiscing about visits from years gone by. One lady fondly recalled special days spent in New Brighton with her parents, sharing heartfelt stories that brought smiles to everyone around her.

The group was treated to traditional fish and chips at the ever-popular Perch Fish Bar along the seafront, followed by a refreshing walk in the sea air filled with laughter, connection, and joy.

The outing also provided a valuable opportunity for staff and residents to strengthen their bonds, creating meaningful shared experiences outside the day centre setting.

Transport was provided by Charlton Mini Coaches, whose team ensured a safe and comfortable journey for all, accommodating a range of mobility needs. The journey itself added to the excitement, as passengers passed both Everton and Liverpool football stadiums—much to the delight of many.

At Radfield Home Care, we are proud to organise and support community outings that help individuals remain active, socially connected, and engaged in meaningful experiences while continuing to live independently at home. This trip is just one of many planned, with upcoming coach outings including visits to Llandudno and other destinations.

Alongside our community engagement initiatives, Radfield Home Care provides a comprehensive range of services designed to support individuals in their own homes. These include personal care, dementia care, live-in care, waking night support, companionship visits, community outings, hospital discharge support, respite care, rehabilitation support, and assistance with daily living and wellbeing.

All of this is delivered as part of our “Be There” ethos—ensuring compassionate, reliable care and meaningful connections for every individual we support.
