Home Care Providers Owned by Penumbra in East Lothian

My sister has unfortunately been receiving care from this organisation for a while now and I say that in the loosest possible sense. This agency cannot provide what I would consider even a basic version of what they offer and get paid for. Frequent missed visits, lack of communication, poorly trained and motivated workers, constant inconsistencies and misinformation. Penumbra's help has made my sister's life harder and I would not recommend this organisation to anyone. I understand Covid has been hard on everyone but this organisation was bad before March 2020 and is only getting worse. I trained as a nurse before I moved into management with a supported living group and it turns my stomach to see how Penumbra have treated a vulnerable person with mental health issues. Please don't complain to Penumbra about their own failings, they will cut you loose from the service all together rather than deal with their inadequate service.
