Since the takeover, programming has been worse. Too many changes to be emergency changes, e.g. 22/9/25 14 visits 11 changes, November 24 14 visits 9 changes, Dec 15 14 visits 8 changes. There appears to be three types of staff contracts. Standard of care varies from barely satisfactory to excellent,
e.g. dishes are left to drain, not put away, client is not mobile enough to transfer dishes himself, 24/7 carer (me) does it. Not all due to inexperience. Management guidance/supervision needs. Looking for improvement in 2026.

The health carers coming to me are very good and kind. Two half hour visits per week, I needed a lot of home care- due to serious operation in 2018, needing to move to a bungalow due to requiring extra living care. Lost it all after 15 month, once I needed help with showering, once I could do for myself,
I kept carers on, as both great help in emergency seeing help was arranged for what may have been needed, kind caring, most understanding. Regular service very good, not always so far timely replacement if regulars are ill or on holidays. But for having home care for many disabled is a wonderful service- thank you so much!

I was pleased to have support from the carers who attended to my husband during his final weeks they were kind, caring and very efficient during their visits. They seemed to be able to extend their time with us when necessary during his final days. We were provided with a lot of equipment which helped
him to remain as comfortable as possible. This was delivered and taken away at the times stated. A huge thank you to all.

Carers on the whole good. Some excellent. Trouble comes when carers are on holiday. Planners are not very good.

We are extremely pleased with the quality of care being provided. The management team are really on top of all aspects of his care arrangements. His small team who provide one to one care is truly outstanding. Our son has had several emergency medical challenges over the recent past. His team acted
so professionally and were complimented by the paramedics and hospital staff which is testament to how well they performed. The team endeavor to find stimulating activities and one of his team took him to an activity centre for a few days which must have been so exhausting for her but so wonderfully enjoyable for our son. Our son is very happy in his home, and we are so relived and contented with his care. If we have any concerns they are quickly resolved.

We only had a small amount of care, but it was very helpful. It seemed to end very abruptly with not an explanation why.

This service did not work well. My mother was classed fit for discharge from hospital to her home. The time she was home was awful, she had nightmares and confusion and despite several carers I still found her, in tears, wandering the street - she was readmitted to hospital. Despite this she was again
discharged and the outcome was the same. She is now being assessed in a care home. I have to say I found the carers very good - my mother was just too much to cope with.

I was discharged under the D2A scheme from hospital following surgery for my left hip and wrist. The scheme worked very well for me, enabling an earlier hospital discharge as safely as possible. All the staff were helpful and encouraging me to be as independent as possible. My only negative would be
that on discharge there was no immediate community physiotherapy input to further help recovery.

The keyword has been care - every member of the team assisting my mother since her discharge from the hospital has been exemplary. Their diligence and friendly care in assisting here rehabilitation could not be faulted. Maintaining her dignity whilst attending to her daily needs and requirements in
her own home has been professional but personal and caring. I could not recommend this service any higher. They have pride in their work and care for the individual, whatever their needs. Couldn't have managed without them. Thank you.
