The quality of care has been good, although the team looking after my son has been disrupted by staff illness meaning that continuity, which is paramount, has sometimes been lost. My son is well looked after with the team trying hard to secure some new activities to ensure that there is plenty for my son to do each week. I have a very good relationship with the team. In particular the purchase of a new phone has improved communications.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Realise, and also for sharing your feedback regarding staff illness. We wholeheartedly agree that continuity of care is extremely important, particularly in ensuring consistency for the individuals we support. While unforeseen absences can...
My daughter has been supported by Realise for five years. They have always and continue to deliver exceptional person-centred care. The communication between myself and Realise is transparent and regular. There has been one occasion where I reached out to the manager, and my concerns were immediately addressed. I'm proud to inform people Jessy is supported by Realise.
Kind regards,
Realise

Steve has been cared for by Realise for several years now, and we have always been so grateful for his amazing team. They always have his best interests at heart and each member of his team brings something different into Steve's life. As I age it gives me the reassurance that there will always be a wonderful team of people to care for my son, enabling him to live his best life possible.
Kind regards,
Realise (South West)
We are extremely pleased with the quality of care being provided. The management team are really on top of all aspects of his care arrangements. His small team who provide one to one care is truly outstanding. Our son has had several emergency medical challenges over the recent past. His team acted so professionally and were complimented by the paramedics and hospital staff which is testament to how well they performed. The team endeavor to find stimulating activities and one of his team took him to an activity centre for a few days which must have been so exhausting for her but so wonderfully enjoyable for our son. Our son is very happy in his home, and we are so relived and contented with his care. If we have any concerns they are quickly resolved.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback for your son's Realise support team. We are really touched by your kind words, and it means the world to us that he is safe, happy and able to enjoy activities which are meaningful to him. We are privileged to be able to support him to live the life he chooses. Best regards,Realise

Meet the Team (1)
My name is Emma Fox, and I am the Registered Area Manager here at Realise. I began working for the company in January 2015, starting off as a senior support worker. I have worked in various roles within Realise, which has helped me have a strong understanding of the organisation and our values.
Before working at Realise, I worked in a variety of different care settings, from nursing homes to learning disability residential homes. Caring runs in my family, with my Mum working in care and my Nan before her. It is safe to say, working in learning disabilities is my passion, and I come to work every day loving what I do.
I am a Positive Behaviour Support Coach, and this is an approach that I feel very strongly about, as the aim of PBS is to improve a person’s quality of life and that of the people around them. This culture runs deep within Realise, and I am incredibly proud of that.
