I have been using this company to care for my Mum for the last couple of years. All the team are amazing. Happy to help out even at late notice. The carers are super friendly, caring and can't do enough to help my Mum who has Alzheimer's. It's such peace of mind when they are there, I can relax knowing
my Mum is in excellent hands. I would highly recommend all the team.

Seniors helping seniors have provided wonderful support and companionship for my mother over many years. The lovely staff were carefully chosen to reflect mums needs and personality. They supported her in many ways, taking her out for walks, doing puzzles with her, and generally keeping her stimulated.
When her dementia became very severe, they dealt with her in an extremely sympathetic manner. And in her last week or so, before she passed away, they were there for her all the time, night and day. Such a reliable service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any person in need of some care and companionship in the home .

Reply from Tim Heaney, Owner at Seniors Helping Seniors Mid Surrey and West Kent

Thank you so much for your kind words. We feel truly honoured to have supported your mother over the years and to have been there for her during such important times. Matching our companions carefully to each client's needs is something we take great pride in, and we're so glad it made a difference for your family. Your recommendation means a great deal to us, and we remain committed to providing compassionate care to all those we serve. Kind regards

Our daughter has been receiving care 5 times a week from the team. They have all been kind, caring and supportive in settling our daughter into university life and have been helping her with aspects of self care, socialisation and living independently. This support has been invaluable in giving our
daughter the best opportunity to settle in to living away from home, and for us this has been fundamental in her achievements she has already completed this year, it has also taken a lot of stress away from us knowing she is being well care for.
The kind caring team make such personnel help just like it is being provided by a family member and they are very respectful of encouraging independence and only helping when requested.
We really are so glad we found the team - we would recommend them to our family and friend in the future and anyone living in the canterbury area.

Reply from Sally Wilse, Partner at Seniors Helping Seniors (UK) Ltd - Canterbury

Thank you so much! It's been a delight to support your family through this incredible milestone. We rose to the challenge to match carers who could support a young student life properly and discretely, and we're all loving it!

We had help from Seniors for some time but they really excelled themselves in June 2024. I returned home after major surgery and we had a live-in carer from another firm. She was a disaster and had to go. The Seniors management came to our rescue. They organised a team of helpers to come several times
a day and helped us through a very difficult time. We still have help whenever needed including after a recent operation. We are enormously grateful to them. The management are endlessly helpful and supportive. We have had several different seniors and they are all, without exception, kind, helpful, reliable and efficient. It's a pleasure to have them here.

Reply from Tim Heaney, Owner at Seniors Helping Seniors Mid Surrey and West Kent

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and kind words. We're truly touched by your appreciation, and it's been our privilege to support you during such a difficult period. We're happy we could step in when you needed it most and help ease things after your surgery. It means a great deal to know that our team has made a positive difference. We'll continue to be here for you with ongoing care support.Kind regardsTim Heaney

Absolutely outstanding. We had a disastrous experience with another provider and SHS rapidly responded to our urgent need and have been wonderfully looking after my elderly parents ever since. They are extremely helpful and flexible, and every one of their carers is really kind as well as totally reliable.
I've got to know the owner, who runs the Surrey and Kent franchise, a little and he is so impressive. Really dedicated to making a difference to his clients, he repeatedly goes out of his way to help in lots of small ways as well as delivering a first rate service overall. I can't recommend them highly enough

So happy we found SHS - everyone we have come into contact with has been kind, approachable, professional, friendly and caring. Everything we could want for our Mum from a companion/carer and especially that SHS do their best to match the helper with the user's interests such as music, gardening, literature
- it all helps create a quick bond and lots of scope for chats and discussions. The social aspect is easily as important as the actual help around the house - invaluable.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that you've had such a positive experience with SHS. It means the world to us to know that our team has made a meaningful difference for your mum and your family. Matching our helpers based on shared interests is something we truly believe in-it's wonderful to hear how much that has enhanced the connection and companionship. We're here to support not just with practical help, but also to nurture those valuable social bonds. Thank you again for your trust and lovely feedback!Kind regardsTim Heaney

We have been using seniors helping seniors for nearly 3 years.
Then have been supporting my father with companionship and are very reliable. As well as companionship, the support will offer to take dad out for drives in the countryside ( which he loves) coffees and lunches out , but also are very reliable
to support dad to medical appointments.
We are delighted with the service.

We have been using Seniors Helping Seniors for my mother's care and home help for several years and have been delighted with the service they provide. The carer who helps mum is kind, caring, sensible and supportive. She understands mum's needs and nothing is too much trouble. Mum always looks forward
to the carer's visits and she considers her to be a friend.
It is also very reassuring to the family to know that mum has good companionship and is being so well cared for.
Communication with the office is also easy and friendly.

We are delighted with the companionship service provided by Seniors Helping Seniors (SHS).
Our mum (aged 97) has vascular dementia which has seriously impacted her memory. This affects her ability to create relationships with new people and to engage in conversation with visitors. We recognised the
importance a couple of years ago of ensuring she gets to talk to people outside the family and we were recommended to SHS.
Mum has had the same companion for circa 2 years. She is compassionate and kind, and encourages mum to chat without making her feel anxious about the lack of memory recall. The visits are extremely valuable to mum and it gives the family a much needed break knowing she is in excellent hands for the afternoon.
We find the SHS office team to be very approachable and accommodating with any requests for extra cover, etc.
My brother and I whole-heartedly recommend SHS to anyone who is looking for a trusted and compassionate companion for a relative.

Seniors Helping Seniors have been caring for our elderly friend for some time. Without any family she would not have been able to care for herself and would have needed a care home. She loved the care she received and was very fond of each member of staff who came on the four days a week she received
help with washing and dressing.

We contacted the service for help with my Father, in particular some social visits. The service was promptly set up following a home visit and the carers well matched. At the initial visit, all aspects were discussed directly with my Father to ensure he fully understood what was being proposed, as well
as with myself.

From the very first contact I had with the staff at SHS they have been amazing. We started off slowly as we had major 'push backs' from our parents but through the guidance of all their carers we have increased the visits to twice a day, 7 days a week. Every single one of the carers have been loving,
caring, considerate and very dedicated during their visits. Nothing has been too much trouble .Their 'open dialogue' has been so helpful in keeping us up to date on how our parents are doing ( both my sister and I live overseas). We trust them totally to do whatever is in the best interests of our Mum and Dad. I could not recommend them more highly.

Mom has been supported by SHS for a few years providing companionship and general daily help such cooking meals, managing the yard and flowers, helping with the pharmacies, taking her to her local surgery center, and so forth. My sister and I were very reliant on SHS, as we live in the US, and had been
very happy with her carers as was Mom. When mom's cancer started to accelerate, we requested almost 24 hour personal care. As it was almost last minute, SHS marvelously were able to get current carers to extend their hours as well as bring on wonderful new ones. The level of care and concern of the carers for my mom till she passed was exemplary and won't be forgotten; some even attended her service.

Our experience with Seniors Helping Seniors was excellent. They were able to provide bespoke companion care to my father with extremely short notice in a pragmatic, flexible and user-friendly way. The team and the carer herself went to great lengths to understand our personal circumstances as a family
and my father's needs as a person. He was treated with respect, compassion and warmth at a time where he had no insight into his level of needs. The carer herself was responsive to our suggestions and she also showed initiative in identifying activities that my father would enjoy. Photos of my father smiling whilst out with the carer were some of the most positive moments we had during a very difficult time for us as a family. We will be approaching this agency again as our first port of call if our circumstances need care again.

Seniors Helping Seniors (SHS) have been supporting my mother for over three years. She is in her 90s and SHS support has enabled her to remain living independently in her own home. She says how much she likes all of the staff who support her and feels comfortable with each. SHS are flexible if she
needs extra help or reduced help when family members stay over with her. I and my siblings feel confident that we can rely on SHS to help keep our mother safe and cared for when we are not able to be with her.
