carers not turned up. It's been more stressful rather than a help for me.

gone within 5 minutes and always writing down they'd stayed for an hour. If I didn't require any personal care and would appreciate a chat as I tell them I'm extremely lonely, it was obvious they had no intention of this and would leave. Because I reported this to the agency numerous times I was allocated regular carers who were much more willing. The office and managers are very hard to get hold of and it took me 4 calls over 4 days last week to speak to a manager who after me telling her my issues ashord me she'd ring me back the next day and didn't. I called the next working day and asked for the person above that manager to call me and heard nothing .... I could go on !!!

(which means she was put to bed at 7pm and not seen to until I got there at 11.38), nor the first afternoon slot. Also because we had not received a call notifying us of the situation we called Allfor Care and was waiting on the phone for 45 minutes!
This is a question for the manager, because we have had representatives from Allfor Care visit ourselves at Mums house, and we have discussed the importance of communciation and were reassured that communication is key.

carers. They do not call back when I have a query or respond to emails. But overall the care received is good.

office however has huge communication issues. I would call, ask to speak to someone, be told they were not available and to expect a return call, only to find this was hardly ever the case.
I would not recommend this company to any individual looking to get care, time is an issue as is continuity which adds extra stress.

Two days after I cancelled someone turned up at 1 pm to do work, I told them I had cancelled, she said she would have to ring the office and did this in front of me while I'm standing uncomfortably with crutches. I don't know what they were told but no apology and they just went. So disorganised as nobody seems to know what they are doing or where they are going. Today I ring them and ask why someone came when I had already cancelled. The woman said it was her colleague, but not easy to hear the person when they are standing in wind, they hung up. I didn't bother to call back.

last 3 months. In real time, she has been overcharged by a lot more. I have written to Allfor Care and copied it to Croydon Council making an official complaint. Some elderly people have nobody that can check invoices for them. The company think they can charge what they like. The final straw was the last visit when the Carer came and showered Mum. When Mum was dressed and ready to go in the stairlift the carer insisted that she went downstairs first. When Mum got down the Carer came out of a downstairs room, having gone through personal papers and she had the sheer audacity to ask Mum questions about what she was looking through. Disgraceful behaviour.
