Since switching from old company! to this one my life i notice a difference in my mum ! you could not asked for better care then this company they are caring towards my mum treats her with the Dignity and the respect that my mum deserves. she's happier in herself and anything that is wrong they let us know , i would recommend this care company that provides everything and making sure that her needs are met , my mum Brenda of 93 is lot more confident they have only been with my mum since 1/4/26 . with in 8 days on starting they are lovely bunch ,,,, so please if anyone needs or looking for home care package please get in contact with My Life ,, from her Loving Daughter Elaine

Overall Experience

This has been our first month using carers twice a day for my Nan. The whole process has been perfect and have no complaints at all. The carers are amazing, especially one lady in particular! After discharge from Hospital a month ago we was thinking of cancelling our holiday to care for Nan, I can relax now, knowing with Nans improving strength and care twice a day she will be absolutely fine and well looked after

We've used MyLife for over a year and have been very happy. All the carers have been lovely and have been good to have in the home. Always very helpful when I phone and would highly recommend. Don't hesitate.

Overall Experience

My mum has had 1 care call a week with Mylife for many years to help with housework and shopping. Having had a fall I called the office to see if they could put in place 2 calls a day with immediate effect so we could get her discharged quickly. The office were amazing and couldn't do enough, Kerry was so helpful and care started the following morning. We can't thank you enough for coming to our rescue. Thank you

All I can say is that my experience with everyone I have had contact with has been excellent in every way. I had had no previous experience of this kind of thing before so I didn't know what to expect. But I have been hugely impressed by, and very grateful for, the service I have had from My Life from the very beginning.

I've been meaning to do this for ages. I've been using My Life for a few years now, and the last time I reviewed them I gave them a bad write-up, because when I started, the provision was all over the place. However, I would now like to set the record straight, This agency is better than most.

1. They do try to send the staff you get on with. So you have a team of staff you know

2. The staff will try their best to do anything you want them to do.

3. Generally speaking, the staff are friendly and they do actually care

4. If you don't want a certain person for any reason, they will remove them from your regular staff.

5. They will act on any short term or long term changes you need to make to your routine, or the times you want people to come in.

6. They have responded to criticism.

criticism: Sometimes messages aren't passed on when you phone the office.

Advice for using any agency. Communicate your needs. Get a trusted person to help if you can't do this yourself

Overall Experience

I receive help in the morning to wash and dress. The carer also makes my breakfast and a hot drink. I also have a carer visit in the early evening to help me change for bed and prepare an evening meal. I have severe arthritis which hampers my movement and the carers are very gentle, they also help with things such as hand washing and opening jars. I would not manage on my own without this help.

I contacted My Life as I wanted to investigate the use of extra help in the home if, as has happened in the reticent past, I needed extra help when discharged from hospital. My Life understood this and were extremely helpful in putting in place a temporary twice weekly service for 2 weeks whilst I recovered from an accident and my usual helper in the house was away on holiday. The My Life carer who came was punctual and very helpful. Fortunately I did not need any personal care so cannot comment on this aspect of My Life services. I would certainly contact my Life again when in need of help.

Overall Experience

The user has dementia and hearing loss. She can be very difficult and a times quite the opposite, however the ladies who attend are very patient and treat her well and with dignity.

Excellent communication from management meet and greet. Carer perfect, lovely lady, very caring, knows the needs of the client. Has common sense.

Arrangements are very good overall. Staff on the whole very pleasant. Some care staff are more competent than others.

Punctuality of visits sometimes not as wished (but I understand reasons for delays).

I was very impressed with the patience and perseverance shown by the care staff who tried repeatedly to gain the trust of my aunt who has dementia. Despite her hostility the staff kept trying to provide support. Excellent support was also provided by management.
