Thank you for sharing your concerns. As the new Registered Manager at Esteem Care, I've reviewed the care provided to your parents, which concluded before I assumed my position. I regret any dissatisfaction you experienced and sincerely apologize for the distress caused. I was made aware of your detailed email from December 2023 and am disappointed that earlier management did not address your concerns effectively. We have since introduced a new management team, with none of the previous members remaining. Under my direction, having successfully managed our Kendal branch since June 2022, we are identifying areas for improvement, including staff training and support. Our team is dedicated to rebuilding morale and ensuring that our care meets the high standards our clients and their families deserve. We are sorry that you are unhappy with our service and are looking at ways to resolve this. Unfortunately, since the package of care commenced we had a full-time member of staff on that run sadly pass away and the other full-time staff member reduced their hours to part-time. We have successfully recruited for the full-time position but are still actively recruiting for the part-time back shift position and are having to rely on bank staff to cover this at the moment. We aim to provide continuity and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this is causing. As well as actively recruiting we have had high levels of sickness among staff which has affected our service.
