The overall package and were pleased with the individual are always prompt, polite, pleasant and attentive. However some are able to complete far more of their duties during the time allotted. Any medical issues are picked up well.

Westmorland Care Company offers a very caring and reliable service. The team of attendants who look after my daily needs during the working week are friendly, sympathetic, kind and efficient. An excellent team without exception from "elderly" (old) to younger (18) and I can recommend the service highly.
The office insures any particular preferences of mine are administered efficiently, although, internal office communication sometimes fails to match the high standards expected elsewhere. The attendants fulfill my cleaning/ironing, gardening, toilet and bathroom hose down, and use my steam cleaner and vacuuming efficiently.

My father suffered a heart attack and sepsis in August 2025, and hospital staff put him on the "End of Life" pathway. We got him discharged from hospital, but needed personal care urgently to be delivered to him at his home. Westmoreland Homecare saved us by immediately agreeing to help us. The quality
of his carers until the day he died in October was beyond exception: so kind, patient, professional, discreet, happy to attend him every day!. And I was looked after too - with phone calls to make sure I was managing. I missed them after he died, and will always remember them.

The Westmorland Homecare team have been very responsive to our requirements, as we sought home care options for my mother in the central Lake District, and the support and care they have provided has been excellent: professional, pro-active and and compassionate. The whole team have been very understanding,
and have always been happy to talk and listen, and to offer practical advice and assistance. Thank you!

We have been very please with the service and care provided by Westmorland Homecare for my 91 year old mother. The firm has been very professional. Initially helping to assess and provide the care needed when mum came out of hospital, amending this as necessary as she has gotten stronger.The staff have
been very caring, supportive and understanding. As I live some distance from mum has given me updates on the care provided and any issues arising. It has been a small team proving mum's care and we have been delighted how this has been managed providing the continuity mum wished for. No hesitation in recommending them.

My father has been a service user of Westmorland Homecare for around 12 months and the whole experience has been excellent.
All his care needs are met on an individual assessment and the care plan is reviewed and updated regularly. The management team are excellent and very accessible when needed.
The
care providers are consistently professional, caring and trustworthy. They all go above and beyond to provide exceptional care to my dad.
I have worked in the healthcare industry for 40 years and I would rate Westmorland Homecare as outstanding. Thank you to the whole team for enabling my dad to remain in his own home and giving us the confidence of knowing he is cared for in a caring, empathetic way.

I am very pleased with the service WH are providing for my 98 year old mother. The company has a very professional approach and all the staff are equally professional and friendly, providing great customer care. Westmorland Homecare are amazing. From the first contact they have been professional, kind, super efficient, thoughtful and just all round great. Starting homecare for my mum was obviously quite a big step for an independant woman and at every turn, the carers and office teams have made this a dignified
and respectful transition for my mum. And now the care programme is established, it has genuinely brought mum back a real sense of independence again and of wellbeing. We wouldn't be without Westmorland Care now and nor would mum. We are so grateful for all. In summary - they are the best. Thanks Team Westmorland!

I can happily echo the feedback from all the other clients of Westmorland Homecare - words like wonderful, amazing, and the all-encompassing 'OUTSTANDING' spring to mind. My mother came to live with me and my wife about 17 years ago - then aged 87. We didn't consider ourselves as carers until mum had
to spend a few weeks in hospital before returning home in 2022. I had no reservations in turning to Westmorland Homecare for help, which has proven to be the best decision I could have made. Mum is now 104 years old - not as sprightly as she once was, but can still greet our super carers with a big smile each morning! Long may that last. Many thanks to all.

WHC are effient, polite, respectful and always discuss on going needs for my mum , taking into consideration what she wants, needs,for her to have as much independence as is safe to do so, they take familys views and wishes on board and work closely with us , nothing is to much trouble and have adapted
to mums changing needs

My husband and I are extremely satisfied with our care over the past year. The carers are very well trained and knowledgable, and my husband (who is bed-bound/wheelchair bound) really enjoys their visits. I help with my husbands care, and find this very useful as I can discuss and agree any changes
we make to the care plan. The management team are always accessible and reviews clients regularly to see if the service is satisfactory. I could not see that the whole organisation could be improved!

Having been with a care provided for 6 months that were appalling, it was with great relief to find Westmorland Homecare in the Penrith area. They could not have been more helpful and professional in their care. They have met the high standard we expected for my 96 year old mother. She has provision
that meets her needs and the flexibility to respond to changes in circumstances. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a company that genuinely provides great standards and care.

The ladies who visits us are all very polite, conscientious and thorough. We have a very pleasant relationship with them all. There seems to be a strong desire to please the customer.

The staff treat my husband with empathy and dignity at all times. The carers are very punctual and come at the appointment time and of they are late a phone call is made.
The carers treat our home with care and reflect my wishes about my husband's care.
This is the second time we have used the services
of the agency and would use again if we needed.
