My father lived with me for the last years of his life. I was his main carer. The last six months were extremely difficult for my partner and myself.
You and I Care were NHS assigned as his palliative carers. They were brilliant. I could see first hand how the carers operated and looked after him until
the end.

I'm filling this out on behalf of my mother. After a few initial concerns regarding discharge from hospital, windows and doors, these have all been dealt with promptly and I'm happy with my mum's care. Personal hygiene - excellent, carers - excellent. Her flat is kept very clean. Her needs are being
fully met by professional carers. I have met four carers that visit my mum and she is treated very well.

We have been serviced by (2 + 1 + 1 + 2) carer visits a day by a select group of their carers and we, especially my wife, who has advanced Parkinson's disease (stiff type!) have received excellent care and attention with expert use of the essential equipment supplied by the OT dept of our local council.
All concerned show great empathy to us both with all the problems we encountered entering these debilitating, and somewhat daunting, problems in the 'dusk' of our lives. With their help, we should be able to remain happily at home for as long as possible. So we would have no qualms about recommending their services to anyone looking for this type of comprehensive care with advice and backup.

Staff very friendly, punctual when arriving for calls, will ring if running late, always pleasant and treat my partner with dignity and respect and are always polite to me. Could not recommend this company highly enough. Staff a credit to the company.

I came out of hospital after five and a half months feeling down. Thanks to the bubbly, real and caring staff, full of fun and laughter, they have made life worth living again. Keep up the laughter, smiles and fun.
More friends than carers. Long may it continue. Made an eighty year old man very happy,

I knew right from the start, when my prospective carer did her initial assessment, that things were going to go well. Her attention to detail was phenomenal and was done with such care and appreciation of my dignity. The care plan that was agreed to has been given and even surpassed.

Three staff are trained to a very high standard. Ability to use their initiative and promote independence.
One staff member is great at care with less ability to use her initiative but is very supportive in the delivery of service.
One of the care assistants should be a trainer as her standards are
very high.
The agency is not open to compromise regarding contractual hours but is professional at all times.
I would recommend the service with the proviso to check policy re the change of hours and notice required, but the actual care standard is 10/10

The carer is always on time, she does her work with expertise and a smile on her face. I have never had a carer before, but she is excellent. However, it is difficult to judge if and where service could improve.

You & I Care looked after my father from October 2020. I can't fault how he was looked after by the manager and her team. My father felt comfortable with nine of the ladies, enjoying their company, and they were particularly empathetic to his needs and respected his dignity. I can't recommend You &
I Care enough as they stepped in when we were desperate for professional care to help him and enable him to stay in his own home.

Most carers are efficient, but the timing is very erratic, eg, I was told yesterday that a named carer would be here today at 9.15 am. I received a call at 9.45 to say a different carer would arrive at 11 am. She arrived at 11.30 am. This is not unusual, but I find it very frustrating, for this reason,
I would not wish to recommend your company to my friends.
