Home Care Providers Owned by Seren Healthcare Solutions in Newport

Unfortunately, our experience with Seren Care left us with no confidence in the service provided to my vulnerable father. Within just two visits, we felt we had no option but to change care providers. My father was left to get himself out of the shower without assistance, compromising his safety and placing him at risk of falling. We also raised concerns that carers left early despite electronic records showing full visits had been completed. On both occasions, carers photographed the QR code but failed to complete the handwritten care log book, leaving no independent record of the care provided. Despite our concerns and supporting doorbell footage, management responded without first reviewing the log book. My complaint is now being formally investigated, with a review of attendance monitoring processes. I have also referred the matter, with supporting evidence, to Care Inspectorate Wales

Absolutely awful. Poorly trained. Staff, some with poor English skills, seem unable to perform simple tasks like change an overnight catheter. Left one night with catheter leaking everywhere. Seren's excuse was they were not familiar with the hospital type I had received, not happy and contemplating legal advice.
