After 3 months in hospital my wife was returned with an NHS provided home care package, arranged by another home care provider. We had no experience in this area and have been served four times a day by YoD Care Services staff. We are shortly to self-fund for an indefinite time. After 3 short weeks,
we have got to know and trust these carers in all respects. The team is dedicated, sensitive to patient needs and interact with my wife and myself in a professional, yet friendly way. Nothing is too much trouble and no short cuts are taken because of time. We have had sensible discussions with Management to personalise services to our needs. The decision has been made, we shall stay with YoD when our current NHS package expires. One of their staff has recently received an accolade to show "how one person's dedication to caring can transform lives and set new standards in the care profession." We personally have viewed this first hand. Thank you YoD.

Generally, I am happy with the service my mother receives, but I feel the carer should take more control of their cuties and not continually ask what they should do next. Also, times should be adhered to more strictly, especially in the morning.

My husband has always been looked after very well. The staff take their time with my husband's personal care and talk to him at all times. I am very happy with the service. They try to send the same carer each time. We get notified if they are running late.

Ok. Service is good. My wife would like one of your staff to visit regularly day and evening as she gets on really well with she's a young girl who mainly visits in the evenings. My wife has vascular dementia, so different people can upset her.
