I really must praise the service provided by the Starlight care team in Stafford. My elderly mother was discharged from hospital back to her own home in August following a severe stroke. Her initial care for the first 6 weeks was provided by an NHS funded care service - it was shockingly poor to the
point where myself and my sister were forced to intervene and to take on most of my mother's care tasks. We then moved on to Starlight Care and they have subsequently been nothing short of excellent. All team members have demonstrated care, compassion and professionalism. There is a thorough care plan in place that is reviewed regularly by their manager. Most importantly my mother feels safe with this team - there are 4 lovely carers who are punctual, friendly and competent. Communication with the office and their manager is good (even at weekends). I would highly recommend.

We as a family feel the care that my Father has received has been exemplary. This has been from the initial assessment through to the care he receives from his live-in carer. Dad's live-in carer is a very kind compassionate, caring and fun individual. Dad has co-morbidities and a complex medication
regime. His carer has understood this level of need and has raised concerns appropriately when needed. Dad himself feels safe and secure with the reassurance of his carer living in and this in itself makes him calmer and happier and gives his family the much-needed reassurance that he is safe and well cared for.
The care coordinator who completed Dad's initial assessment took the time to fully understand all of Dad's medical needs and ensured that all his medication and needs were documented and administered safely.
As a family, we really appreciate her professionalism with this as it gives us peace of mind that he is safe and his needs are being met.
Thank you for all you do for Dad.

Starlight carers are helpful, professional, kind and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are a credit to the company. They are always punctual and they together with the administrators at Starlight provide an excellent service.

Our experience with Starlight support workers is, that most of the time the worker arrives on time. Just a couple of them don’t wear the Starlight uniform. One of them never wears the uniform not even an ID badge.
