Overall Experience

I would like to thank everyone at My Life involved with the care of my mother. From setting up the care plan to amendments that were necessary as her care needs changed, My Life always did everything they could to accommodate mum's needs. Where possible mum had the same carers every week (except for holiday cover) which was very much appreciated to give her continuity of care. We cannot fault the carers and the level of care that was given to mum.

Overall Experience

I would like to express how brilliant all the carers have been with my husband. All the carers have been fantastic but would love to give special mention to some carers who have been with us for so long and have just gone that extra mile and put us at ease.

Without MyLife we wouldn’t have got my husband home from hospital and I will be forever grateful that we managed to get him home for his final days/weeks. As this has been his wish to be at home surrounded by family.

After previous bad experiences with other care providers, my aunt has been very pleased with the carers from MyLife who are enabling her to carry on living at home. They all do a great job and have a nice chat when they are there.

Just felt compelled to write a review as I’m so impressed with how MyLife has dealt with my mum. Mum has dementia and we’ve been through hell recently so decided to try her with some care. Mum has always been adamant she wouldn’t have care and can be very stubborn. The quality officer came to see Mum and they didn’t stop laughing and chatting, it was like they were long lost friends, the icing on the cake was Mum's dog sitting on the quality officer's lap (he’s not a small dog) which sealed the deal for Mum. Care has not long commenced but we are very impressed, they have all been lovely so far which is a weight lifted for us.

I am really delighted with the excellent care that I received from My Life (Kent).

The ladies in the office were always happy to listen to any concerns and offer helpful advice, and the amazing care team were reliable, kind, very caring and always brightened up my day. Thank you so much for your much-needed support, after returning home from hospital after an operation. I would definitely recommend My Life to anyone needing care at home.

Overall Experience
My sister had MyLife for a while and overtime increased and changed the care she had, they were very adaptable and would change things to suit her at the drop of a hat.
The carers were charming, professional and most importantly caring and my sister loved all of them.
In late 2020 she went into hospital and contracted the dreaded virus, when she returned home we were worried we wouldn’t get the care back but they surpassed themselves visiting numerous times a day to put our minds at rest, with us not being able to travel it was invaluable.

Would highly recommend this caring company.

Overall Experience
When we learnt of my father’s prognosis we were devastated and wanted him home as he wished, especially due to Covid. The quality officer in Hythe went out of her way to make this happen, she met us late at night due to a delayed discharge and helped get everything set up even going to the shop to grab some bits we had forgotten. We really can’t thank her enough.
The carers were equally great and kept Dad comfortable ensuring they not only supported him but also our mother who has her own needs.

Having never needed care before we didn’t know what to expect but as a family we can’t fault them, Dad passed away peacefully at home as he wished and they made this so much easier with their care and compassion so thank you.

Overall Experience

The manager visited my family at a really critical point in my father's illness. He had returned from hospital and we did not know how we could respond to his needs which were changing quickly as a result of his terminal cancer. I saw many beautiful moments of connection between my father and the regular carers who visited our home up to four times a day. Always professional and cordial, they would greet my father, administer care in the most gentle and respectful manner and leave us, the family, in a better place emotionally and psychologically. The administrator in the office was prompt with her replies and went out of her way to establish additional around the clock care, which we eventually needed. Thank you to the many carers who became our close support network, at a time which could have been even more stressful, with lockdown in place. We have absolute confidence in My Life Homecare and will always be grateful for their incredible service.

I find carers are always friendly and polite, as are the office staff. Carers vary a little, some are excellent; some are great and a few satisfactory. I am very pleased I chose MyLife. Thank you.

My mother had been with Mylife for many years and loved all the carers. She used to phone us every Sunday to tell us about her week which usually consisted of saying how great her carers had been. This gave us great comfort knowing she was in good hands. The assessor used to drop in to see mum and have a cup of tea with her which pleased her and us no end as we couldn’t get to Hythe as often as we would have liked.

Mum's passing was made so much easier knowing she had remained in her own home as she had wished.

My husband receives visits of two carers four times a day for personal care, and a two-hour sit call once a week to allow me to go shopping. Carers are first class, polite, respectful of my husband's needs and tolerant of his constant mood changes. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone needing first-rate care in their own home.

I cannot thank your service enough, it was absolutely invaluable and necessary throughout 2017 as my father's Parkinsons and dementia worsened. All carers were uniformly excellent, hard working, cheerful and went a lot of extra miles with my father's care and dignity and helping myself when times were not easy.

We would have been utterly sunk without your services support assistance; you were a lifeline when most needed. Thank you. I would strongly recommend your services to anyone.

I live overseas and returned to the UK and spent a month living with my mother who is cared for full time by MyLife. I saw first hand the excellent and professional care my mother was given and the attention to detail was excellent. I returned home feeling confident that my mother is being cared for extremely well.
