Absolute Care have looked after me for many years. My regular carers are good and take good care of me. The company were supportive during the pandemic as well. It is a struggle to find good care workers and as long as I have my regular team I’m fine

We have used Absolute Care for about ten years to care for my disabled wife.
The level of care provided is good and the staff are reliable, punctual and friendly.
The company is responsive to our needs and easy to contact when we have any questions or concerns. The invoicing process (we employ them
directly and not via the local authority) is straightforward and accurate.
I am happy with the overall quality of care that Absolute Care provides.

They have been looking after my mum for over one year, then my dad got ill and they helped to take care of him too. They take very good care of my parents, always polite, kind, caring and with respect.
My father passed away in March 2023, we would not have been able to cope on our own. We are so glad
we had the carers, they helped us through a very difficult time. My father was so happy every time they came to take care of him.
Thank you to the carers for the amazing work they do and I would highly recommend them.

I’ve found Absolute Care to be friendly helpful and will go the extra mile to help my lovely mum who has dementia.
The team will contact me if there is an issue or if my mum is poorly. I trust them and am really thankful to them.

My father was left in sheets covered in faeces, his clothes were covered in faeces and there was no food in the house. Another care provider had luckily been brought in as he needed extra support. They went out to buy him clean sheets, food, and towels and washed him. I knew this agency was doing as
a little as possible, a month previous his GP said he was concerned. This was also picked up by another person as well, I raised the alarm yet nothing was done. Absolute Care came out with nonsense defence, saying they never noticed faeces and they went and bought him food! No apology, just a lot of lies. They never communicated with me. This company shouldn't be in business, I was saved by the decent care agency who have now taken over. When I told Absolute Care I would expose them, they dropped my father with no notice. Enough said! Why they are rated Good by Care Quality Commission staggers me!

Including today 05/11/2021 they have failed to turn up on three occasions. Keep altering call times. Very unprofessionally run. Some refuse to wear face masks. This company was arranged by the council and I will be contacting my care worker yet again.

Unfortunately this person was unwilling to have any time apart from 11.30am on the dot. When we told the local authority we could take this person we informed them we could do the call at 10.30am.…read more
We rate most services according to how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they are, using four levels:
Outstanding - the service is performing exceptionally well.
Good - the service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
Requires improvement - the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.
Inadequate - the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service.
No rating/under appeal/rating suspended - there are some services which we can't rate, while some might be under appeal from the provider. Suspended ratings are being reviewed by us and will be published soon.
Ticks and crosses
We don't rate every type of service. For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them.
There's no need for the service to take further action. If this service has not had a CQC inspection since it registered with us, our judgement may be based on our assessment of declarations and evidence supplied by the service.
The service must make improvements.
At least one standard in this area was not being met when we inspected the service and we have taken enforcement action.
