AMG Nursing & Care Services - Burton

I have to mention one person (Amanda) who is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and she works very hard ensuring that all care received is of the highest standard. Within a short time, my husband was encouraged to start gentle exercises in bed and he has gradually progressed to being able to sit in a chair. He is becoming stronger both mentally and physically. We have the team from AMG to thank for all their hard work and the hope they have given us for the continuation of his recovery.

AMG have been caring for my husband since he came out of hospital five weeks ago. Two carers have been coming four times a day because my husband was bed bound. The carers have showed compassion and kindness and their help has been invaluable to my myself and my husband. We have seen a big improvement in my husband's health over the last five weeks and he is now engaging with the carers and with his sheer determination and the carers help he is now slowly walking again. Thank you to all of them who have come through our door and keep up the good work.

I honestly can't recommend AMG enough.

Excellent care and very professional! Noticed balance issues with my dad and also cuts and abrasions on his legs. Followed it up with a call to the district nurses. I wish all carers were the same! Thank you so much.

I would like to just add one slight negative - it would be great if there was someone to pick up the phone at AMG.

One of my carers made my day she got me out of bed soaked my feet lunch and tea meal made I feel very cared for by a friendly carer it was a pleasure to have her for the full day very caring person thank you

Trying to contact the management at office ie seeking help: and receiving reply is non existent.

My carers have been caring for my mom and they always have a smile. They are both very nice and make my mom feel comfortable. They are very professional and they keep me informed with what is going on with my mom.

The carers have been reliable and efficient. The two sisters have been very kind and thoughtful when attending my father. They have always been positive and encouraging, giving dad a positive " can do" approach to his mobility. Giving him confidence and always speaking to him kindly and with compassion.

The care given to my father has been top notch. I have been pleased with every visit. Especially with the two carers. They always bring a high standard of professionalism with a great mix of personality and energy. They have made my father feel at ease and pay great detail to ensure that they keep my father's dignity intact. They not only fulfil physical tasks that need to be done but also help with mental as they always engage in conversation and interest in what my father has to say. They are joy to see and breath enthusiasm into their visits.

They always ask if they need anything & nothing is too much trouble.

On the whole, a great experience and I would gladly have them back in to our home.

We know your service is time limited but we will miss the kind staff and be always grateful of the help provided

The service and support we have recieved for my father in law has been amazing. The lady has gone above and beyond to support his care package which has led to fantastic results and progress. Previously my father in law could not sit up but Amanda has been instrumental in getting him moving and he is now able to sit up on his own. His confidence has risen and he looks happier and proud of his own achievements. Can't thank her enough for her efforts and support.

Lovely carer who is very attentive, chatty and alway makes time to help me if I need it.
