Dad's main concerns are changes to the schedule with no notice and occasional delays in visit timings, which I do understand are often down to traffic problems. Otherwise I would highly recommend Prestige.

Prestige have been helping me care for my disabled wife who also has dementia for the last 3 months.. I have been very inpressed with the support, attitude and experience they have all brought to the task. They assist me in getting my wife out of bed, cleaned, dressed and transferred to her chair each morning and prepare her for bed each evening. Because of her dementia, she can often be quite difficult to help and their patience is exemplary. Quite simply, without their care, help and assistance I would not be able to cope.

Prestige carers supported a disabled client of mine in her home for 18 months. The branch manager, was always responsive, very focused on the client's best interests and making sure that her support requirements were met. The carers were kind and managed the client through, at times, difficult situations. I was able to have calls and meeting with the team outside of their care hours to support the process and the branch manager was always on the other end of a telephone. Thank you for everything!

Always genuinely kind to her and respectful, Mum was fond of all her "girls" and enjoyed a chat. Even though sometimes there was a lot to be done the carers were skilled at making Mum feel at ease, completing all the tasks including personal care, meals, medication and their notes.
I think they communicate well with the office if there were any new problems and I always knew someone was at the end of the phone if there was a problem.
I've heard people say care work is basic and needs few qualifications but the skills, compassion and energy these particular carers have is priceless and meant Mum stayed well at home for as long as possible.

Excellent care company with committed professional carers delivering exemplary care to my mother. This is a respected and underrated profession showing extreme compassion and optimum level of care for little reward. Just clearly demonstrates that your carers are driven by their desire to help the vulnerable rather than financial gain. My mother is currently in hospital. Speedy service sourcing urgent care particularly when carers are hard to find these days. Staff has been supremely fast, efficient and empathetic and has provided two wonderful pop-in carers at very short notice. Prestige Nursing & Care (Banbury) are the best carers my father has had over the last 5 years. The carers are kind, on time, gentle, willing and respectful. I wish there were more of them so we could have them for the evening care too. The office staff are always helpful and obliging on the phone. We called upon Prestige Nursing & Care (Cherwell) towards the end of my dad's life as we needed some waking night care. Unfortunately, we only needed three visits from the carers but both girls were so lovely, friendly, caring and professional, treating dad with great dignity. We were so happy to leave them overnight to take over Dad's care so that we were able to have a good night's sleep. I know the carers that come and have a rapport with them, we laugh too. Having the same carers helps an awful lot, it means I don't have to try to explain things - which I struggle doing and I like knowing the person who's coming.
When I’m particularly unwell, they are very supportive, kind and understanding. It’s more than this though, much more.
I have many allergic reactions, the agency and carers accommodate this by not wearing any perfumes or strong scents - I don’t have to worry about it. Plus, they make suggestions to help. Having LifeCarers gives me peace of mind and helps me manage my complex health, very grateful to them.

Since coming home from hospital in January of last year 2018, following a stroke my husband has had carers from LifeCarers Cherwell who have been consistently supportive, friendly, cheerful, caring, competent and timely in meeting my husband's needs, even managing to arrive on time during difficult weather conditions. Having joined Prestige Nursing & Care in Banbury in 2008, Marta has built a long and rewarding career dedicated to providing exceptional care and support within the local community. Starting as a carer, she has continually developed her skills and expertise, progressing to her current role as Branch Manager.
Marta holds NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care and Management as well as a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services.
