LifeCarers looked after my mother for 9 months before she had to go into a care home. Mum had been very unwilling to have carers in, but within a fortnight was praising staff for their friendliness, willingness to do whatever was required and their kindness in a crisis eg. a fall or digestive upset.
Mum had been lonely before but very much enjoyed talking to the carers. My brothers and I all live some distance away so were delighted that mum's loneliness and physical care were solved. (Unfortunately mum's health deteriorated, she is 97) and after a bad fall, she has had to go into permanent care.

Excellent carers, compassionate, caring, looked after mum and stepfather for quite a few years. Unfortunately, mum needed double carer calls and this could not be funded any longer so we decided to go with another agency due to cost effectiveness beyond our control really. We will miss you all, you
have been part of our family in so many, many ways, thank you for your kindness and care provided to our most valuable possessions, our parents.

My mother had no issues with the carers themselves, but was unhappy about the rota's, having multiple visits per day, many of the carers crossed over their timings, leaving her without a visit for many hours, particularly difficult when there is nobody around to help her take medication, a crucial task.
One of the most important things to keep her mobile and able to function. We now have a live in carer through another company. She is however, very grateful for the care the staff provided.
Reply from A Dobson, Care Advisor at Prestige Nursing & Care (Banbury)

Thank you for your review. We do find it challenging for clients who have a lot of visits per day to get them spaced well. This is something that we are constantly looking into to improve this situation.

Not happy about times being changed and having new people. Not happy about office telling me about change in times. In time.
They still have enough staff to rotate without sending new ones. Please look after the carers you have so they know how good they are, we don't want to lose them.

The carer has been my S.C.W for over two years now, he assists me with various tasks around the house, he makes my meals on a Monday. Assists to make my bed and hang up my washing and taken out my rubbish. For me is helpful, punctual and honest and treats me with dignity and respect. He gets me out
for a walk on Monday for two hours and i look forward to his visits as i have learning disabilities.

I have been thrilled with LifeCarers Banbury. They have listened and understood my father's needs. The lady who i deal with on day to day basis has been extremely helpful in ensuring that dad has as few carers as possible and when he gets on with certain carers she has always endeavored to accommodate
the rota to include as many visits for the preferred carers as possible. My father is extremely happy with the service LifeCarers Banbury provide and i would have no hesitation in recommending your company.
