The ladies in blue they do everything, they're very professional they support me as well as my mother. Nothing is a problem with the care staff, as soon as they come into my house they get on with their job, they go over and beyond for my mother, I couldn't be without this company. Five stars aren't
enough for these Ladies. The overall standard is absolutely outstanding, they work efficiently without been asked.

Crescent were recommended to me by a very experienced case manager when I needed to arrange care for my mum at very short notice so that she could be discharged from hospital. They were outstanding. The package of care was arranged swiftly with minimum fuss and took into account all of mum's needs in
very difficult circumstances. They supplied items that the discharging hospital had failed to send, again with no fuss or delay. The carers arrived on time and carried out the tasks required with care and skill. Without exception, they could teach some of the supposed more qualified staff in hospital how to actually care about those they are looking after. They not only looked after mum but provided support and advice to other members of the family.
If regrettably, you need to arrange care for a relative or someone else then I suggest you ring them first.

I would highly recommend the staff from Crescent Care. My husband had the same circle of staff who would come to our home and this was ideal for him as he had memory loss. The staff were all gentle and caring for my husband, nothing was a problem. Also courteous and respectful towards our home. I felt
the staff supported myself and my husband. I couldn't thank them enough for the support they have given us both!

All the carers I encountered were kind, thoughtful, hardworking and responsible as were the office staff and management. They were a great help to me and contributed greatly to the degree to which I have recovered from depression.

I am very happy with the care provided for my father. One of the features I like is every new carer is introduced to my father, this ensures carers know exactly what is required. Carers are friendly and show a genuine interest in the client. They actively look for things to do to help. My father is
very happy with the carers and says he is very well looked after.
Any help I have requested re my father's care has been forthcoming. Crescent Care provide a very good service - nothing is too much trouble!

My family cannot express how grateful we are to the staff at Crescent Homecare, who had been looking after my grandmother for just over 5 years. The staff and management went over and above to ensure that my grandmother was cared for in her own home, which gave us peace of mind, as we knew if there
was anything to report with regards to my grandmother then they would ring and inform us. I extremely recommend their company to anyone that is looking for a Domiciliary Care Agency in the County Durham Area.

The standard of care given is excellent and it is tailor-made to clients needs. The carers are well trained and have a kind, friendly approach. Mum enjoys seeing the carers. The communication between the carers, the office, other health professionals and our family is very effective and much appreciated.
The management runs a tight ship with good organisational skills, effective procedures, good knowledge of individual clients and a strong caring ethos. This means that our family can trust Crescent Homecare.
There have been many times when the carers have gone the extra mile. For example, carers found a rash on mum and the GP was informed. The GP visited and prescribed medication so Mum was able to have treatment quickly before the condition got worse. The family is very appreciative of this standard of care.

Crescent Homecare have supported my husband now for two years, the carers are all very well trained and respectful to us and our home. They provide an excellent support service to us. They are always discrete and confidential when completing their tasks. We have a small team of carers that come to us
and they have built up a good rapport with both my husband and myself. The management team are very friendly and accommodating. Nothing is ever a problem to them when changing or rearranging any part of our support package.

Management and staff treated my brother with care and dignity. They listened to his wishes for his personal needs. Nothing was a bother to any of the carers. Had time to listen to him. His needs were very complexed and the staff/carers and carried out his needs and listened to him.

Crescent Homecare have looked after my father on a daily basis for 7 years, during this time they have treated my father with dignity and respect. Looking after all of his needs from personal hygiene to even escorting him to hospital when he had a fall. As I live many miles away from my father it has
meant that I am confident that all his needs are looked after, should an issue arise they sort it out and contact me immediately to advise me. As my father did not wish to move to live closer to me it has meant that by using crescent Homecare carers he still gets to talk about familiar places and people which helps to stimulate his mind. I cannot recommend them enough for what they do, it is not an easy job to look after someone who needs so much attention.

Crescent Homecare looked after my mother for 8 years before she passed away. My mother suffered from MS. When my mother died. My father took it very hard and his own health suffered. Crescent Carers started to visit my dad every day offering good support and assistance with his morning routine. It gave
myself and siblings peace of mind that he was having a carer visiting to ensure he was safe and checking on his well being.
