I'm also impressed with the Sonder App. It makes you feel connected to what is happening even when you can't be there yourself, and gives a real sense of reassurance and transparency around the care being provided. I'm hugely grateful to the whole team and would wholeheartedly recommend Sonder.

Sondercare has staff that are very thoughtful and considerate. Their communication skills are good and they have some fun activities each week which I know my Dad enjoyed. Dad was always pleased to see a friendly face and to have a chat.

My Mum has been using Sonder care for the past 3 years and has always had a positive experience. She has built up friendships with the care ladies and has enjoyed attending friendship cafes and other events with other individuals who are receiving care.

Our experience with Sonder has been first class. The carers help mum with whatever she needs and are well trained in caring for the elderly. They are patient and assist her when necessary, but also support her to have the autonomy to do what she can for herself which is really important. Communication with the office staff is excellent and I am notified of any concerns immediately. We have worked together to adapt mum's care as her needs change. Having a variety of carers is great as it means mum has lots of friendly faces to talk to. I have no hesitation in recommending Sonder.

I couldn't be more impressed by the care, compassion and professionalism shown by the Sonder team in their care of my father. Not to be forgotten is the efficiency of the team behind the individual carers that makes the role of our wider family so much easier as we do not have to chase issues or worry that carers won't turn up at the regular time. Carers arrive on time, are well briefed, and ready to do the tasks that are needed for the visit, with a cheerful and kind heart. The office team are also able to help at short notice if we need to add visits for specific reasons. My father also very much enjoys the friendly nature of the Sonder coffee mornings and outings, with their lovely events team. Sonder has our wholehearted recommendation.

I cannot speak too highly of the service we received for my late mother from Sonder HomeCare. They provided domicilary visits for about two years and then live-in care from February to June 2026. Throughout this time, I have been immensely impressed by the quality and professionalism of their carers, and the management team's endless patience and adaptability with our changing needs. In particular I should mention our live-in carer, whose dedication went beyond the call of duty. It was not just the highly attentive physical care, but also our carer's generosity with her time (my mother disliked being left alone at any time) and the emotional care that my mother received that made her last months as happy as they could possibly be. We are very happy with the care provided by Sonder for our mum. They've been helping to look after her for the best part of 6 years now. The carers are professional, supportive, understanding and above all kind. The back office staff are also great, responding promptly to requests or feedback, and they are very flexible and accommodating. Our experience has been brilliant. I called Sonder when my elderly mother (who has mild dementia) had a bad fall and injured her back. They were extremely kind and reassuring on the phone, came out the next day to assess her, and managed to find a carer who could start a live-in care package the very next day. This was a huge relief as my mother lives alone, and I could not stay with her. My mother was initially not at all keen about a 'stranger' coming to stay, but very quickly adapted to the situation, and was actually sad when the care package finished after 6 weeks (as no longer needed). The carer was unobtrusive, attentive and caring towards my mum, and helped her to recover well. She assisted with medication, pain relief, cooking, shopping, laundry and cleaning, and provided company for my mum. The app was very useful as I could reliably check how she was and what she ate etc each day. Communications & management were excellent - supportive, pragmatic and caring. Thank you!

Sonder have been caring for my parents for nearly six years now, adapting and increasing their help as my parents' needs have increased over the years. They have always been fantastic - reliable, caring, very focused on individual needs and preferences - but with a recent series of crises, they have been outstanding. As the picture has changed on an hourly basis, they have pivoted and found immediate solutions, which moved us away from a crisis situation into a manageable position. Most importantly, our parents have remained safe and well cared-for throughout all of these difficult times. I cannot praise Sonder's team highly enough. From beginning to end the service provided has been most efficient and all communications dealt with promptly. The carer, for my wife, was always aware and sensitive to her needs. I could not have expected any more.

I enjoyed the company of the Carer who came. She always arrived promptly on each occasion and with a cheerful disposition. She was always quick to help if anything needed to be done. She came for two hours which was an appropriate length of time. She was excellent company and happy to discuss any topics raised.

When looking for care for my Mother who had developed dementia and lived alone, I had at least two word-of-mouth recommendations for Sondercare and I have not once regretted the decision to go with those recommendations. My Mother was a challenging service user in that she resisted care and could be very vocal about this at times but the carers remained professional in the face of this. They worked hard at building a relationship with her and Mum did accept, at least most of, the visits. This was important for the family because we lived at a distance and we needed to know she was safe, fed and well.

Sondercare's communication is excellent. I could keep an eye on what was happening through the app and when there were inevitable hiccups someone always promptly answered the phone. I shall be forever grateful for the role the staff played in helping me with decision making, advice and giving emotional support.

My parents used Sonder for many, many years - starting with care for occasional help when my Father was first diagnosed with Parkinson's and ending with live-in care as his disease inevitably progressed. We selected Sonder over two other agencies as the Sonder team took time to properly understand their needs and made valuable recommendations - but didn't try to "force" unwanted or unnecessary hours. The Sonder team has been excellent - always responsive, flexible and willing to find ways to help - even when dealing with a last-minute request for support or cover. That is so valuable. I'd particularly like to acknowledge Kirstie, who has looked after us as a family from day one with care, compassion and genuine concern for my parents' wellbeing. Bravo!
