Excellent care, over and above what was booked. I had been unable to visit mum due to the flu and a chest infection. Carers saw to her meals, tidied the kitchen and bedroom. They were able to cover all extra days required of them. They were required to only provided companion care.

Everyone I've met from Home Instead has been kind, considerate and caring.
I like their policy of no stranger coming to my house. Any new carer is introduced to me by one I know before they join my little team.

Thank you so very much for the care you provided over a period of about three years for my wonderful Mother, living alone. The visits you provided allowed her to stay in her beloved Bungalow for as long as possible. Very sadly she passed away on Christmas morning after a brief stay in a care home. Please
be sure to thank all your wonderful Staff from myself and my family and to tell them how very much my Mother appreciated everything that they did for her. Your staff frequently went the extra mile to ensure she was comfortable and they are a credit to Home Instead. It was so lovely to see one special lady at the Funeral. I know that your carers, like us, will miss her so much, she was brave and stoic.

I have found over the years, that my mother has been cared for during the week by Home Instead, the staff on all levels to be polite, kind and supportive. The carers do a splendid job under somethings trying circumstances with mum. When we have (rarely) had any problems everyone has gone over and above
to solve them.
I have no worries at all about leaving mum in their care.

My father in law passed away recently, the team from Home Instead had been calling on him for at least 3 years. Over those 3 years, the team was excellent, providing personal care several times a day towards the end of his life, as his health deteriorated they helped more and more.


I remember one

particular day when we were trying to help Dad to the toilet and unfortunately, Dad was too weak with our help to get back to his chair. We tried but we just couldn't manage it, we called Home Instead and explained our situation, and within 20 minutes, 2 of the ladies were with us and helped Dad back to his chair.


He had a great relationship with the girls that visited him, they were all extremely professional, kind and above all caring. We felt as a family we could ask Home Instead for any help even at short notice, which we have done on several occasions, when either Mum was not well enough to help Dad.
The team at Home Instead continue to help Mum, where would we be without them.

We were at our wits end, trying to help my father to leave the hospital after treatment for a life-threatening illness. Mercifully a kind lady at the hospital suggested Home Instead to us. Home Instead offered us hope where there had been a very dark hole, full of anxiety and anguish caused by unacceptable
hospital red tape hope, that my father in the final stage of his life, was treated with dignity. Respect and professionalism. Home Instead did all that and more. From that moment it was like a cloud had been lifted from us all and we sailed along with my father, with all the problems that entailed, often with laughter, to a peaceful end. Our load was lighter thanks to Home Instead. The staff were excellent and we cannot thank them enough.

My 87-year-old Mum was living alone at home with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's. I was finding it increasingly difficult to keep on top of caring for her alone.


After careful consideration and lots chats with Home Instead Senior Care, I decided to employ their services. They were so helpful

and gave me advice and info while I was deciding to 'let go' of some of her care - a really difficult decision for me. All of the staff who visited and cared for Mum were great and we narrowed the staff down to 2/3 of her favourite carers (Mum was better with slightly younger staff) who rotated her care. They went in daily and made her evening meals, changed her clothes/pads/bedding, put on washing on etc and generally did whatever and left a full report of each visit. I found all the staff really caring and helpful. Mum had a fall and broke her hip and has now had to go into a Home as it wasn't safe for her to return home.


I couldn't fault their care/concern for mum's welfare. You can't put a price on peace of mind.
