I have worked in elder care for 25 years myself and found everyone at Mumby's to be excellent from management to care staff.
Everyone wants the best for their loved ones and nothing is too much for this amazing company, they embraced Mum's care with respect and kindness at all times.
I would highly recommend Mumby's to anyone.
Thank you very much, Charlotte. It's here that the quality of care transcends down from management to care staff.
After a series of falls by my 86 year old mother who lives with my disabled father, I was recommended Mumby's amongst other care agencies. After telephoning around to find out the best, fastest solution, I was most impressed by Mumby's response, the manager's obvious concern and care and also offering the best and fastest solution. We were visited the next day to meet my father and discuss his/our needs, she then came back to me later that night with a few carer proposals and duly arrived with al lovely lady from Slovakia the following day. A difficult transition for my father to accept care meant things were far from simple, Mumby's was supportive all the way through and enormously helpful in the way they handled the situation. We are now on our third carer from the agency, a delightful French lady who has settling in very well. Each hand over has been very well handled and Mumby's have been very sensible about the pricing. I could not recommend them enough.
Thank you for the review. We do pride ourselves on the speed that we can set up without losing any of the quality.
Actually tremendously helpful. My father is particularly difficult with increasing dementia issues. The team helped me navigate through these testing times. The manager and her team have the patience of saints!
Thank you for your patience too James. It's been a pleasure working with you to care for your father. Care is never smooth.
Since the assessment, Mum has been provided with first-class care.
Everybody at Mumby's has been kind and supportive, nothing is too much trouble.
Mum and I are both very happy.
Thank you.
Thank you, Kim. When we take on the great responsibility of caring for peoples loved ones. We do try hard to re-assure and take the pressure off.
Having had very little experience with a care company previously, Mumby's team have been nothing more than exceptional in their support, care and professionalism in assisting us. They have been so understanding both to the client and to us. Their knowledge, communication and consideration of a very difficult situation has proven to be invaluable. They work as a team along with other faculties which has enabled us to focus on the decisions that need to be made and not to be immersed in the anxiety of a stressful situation. We would not hesitate to recommend Mumby's - their staff are a pleasure to work with, their on-site care people are of a very high standard, they have supported and reassured us throughout and most importantly their knowledge and connections have been so helpful to us in understanding an area we knew very little about. If you need a reliable, professional care company Mumby's is the company you need to use.
Thank you for such a glowing review and highlighting our team working and collaboration. It is only through feedback we know our processes are working and meeting all parties expectations.
Mumby's carers treated my parent with respect and dignity as he required during a difficult time of his life. Mumby's took time to find a carer that would suit in a particularly demanding situation and see we could carry on maintaining a standard of life for my father that he needed until the end. We are very grateful.
Thank you, Maggy. It was a pleasure to have been part of his life.
I was very pleased with the support and care we received from Mumby's Homecare Support. They were responsive to our needs and made sure an appropriate (excellent) carer was assigned to us. I would strongly recommend Mumby's for live-in care.
It was a pleasure to have been able to find a care worker that suited so well.
I have just been magnificently looked after for five weeks following an accident whilst on holiday. So too have my two dogs. We three shall miss the carer.
I cannot fault the care he is receiving.
Some points for improvement. 1. there has been some inconsistency between management regarding equipment needs which has introduced an unnecessary cost. 2. it has been less handover and relax and involved a lot more input than expected.
Your team are doing this and my parents are where they want to be.
They are being treated with kindness and dignity.
They certainly enjoy the variable diet.
My wife and I can now relax and go out and go on holiday knowing my parents are in safe hands.
It was a great comfort to us that his last few weeks at home after leaving hospital was spent with peace and dignity.
Mumby's Homecare Support always provide the highest level of care. They are very responsive to Mum's changing needs and she has a great relationship with her carer for whom nothing is too much trouble. I am kept fully informed of any issues or concerns this carer has and they can be rapidly resolved.
Mumby's provided a superb service to my parents. The management dealt with all problems instantly and the carers they provided were faultless.
A good caring service is provided. The carers they provide are excellent and dedicated. No adverse comment.
We received an excellent service from the two carers we had with Mumby’s. They greatly helped me and my son in looking after my husband in his final months. We could not have coped without their assistance.
Very good, skilled carers in my two experiences. Left hip replacement (May/June); right hip replacement (August/September). Flexible in approach. Weakness was in some of the set-up and administration, though in counter sorted out car arrangements when my insurer failed to provide the cover needed.
I am confident that my mother is safe and comfortable with your carer-givers. Communication with management is easy and sensitive.
Mumbys have always provided a very high standard of care for my father. The carers have become part of our family always reliable going above and beyond their job role. I would be lost without their support.
Mumby's are a reliable family agency, which we have used for over six months. We are satisfied with the quality of the carers, and they handle my wife's situation (and consequently mine) well. Possibly the only comment I have is that some of the carers' spoken English is difficult to understand, and vice versa. My wife likes some carers better than others, but that is the nature of her illness.
