The staff are all very friendly and capable and it says a lot for the Company that they appear to have very little staff turnover.
They all do actually seem to 'care' about my Mum and her well-being and she looks forward to their visits and catching up with them. It is very reassuring to me to know that they call in regularly and will let us know of any issues.
Would highly recommend them.
Thank you for your kind comments, we really appreciate your feedback. It is a pleasure to support your mother. All the carers who attend to her needs each day often comment that they really enjoy visiting her and providing her with the best possible support and companionship that they can offer. I hope we can continue offering this care and support for as long as it is needed.
My mother has been receiving care in her home from Second To None for the past 13 years. My mother's needs are complex, both physical and mental. The carers go out of their way to attend to her needs. They are always friendly and approachable and treat my mother with the greatest respect whilst maintaining a much-needed sense of humour. Without their excellent care, my mother would have needed to go into a nursing home a long time ago. I cannot recommend this company enough.
Thank you for your kind comments, we really appreciate your feedback. It is a pleasure to support your mother and to offer respite support for you and all the family. All the carers who attend to her needs each day often comment that they really enjoy visiting her and providing her with the best possible care that they can offer.
The girls are not only skilled but also incredibly kind and patient and have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure she's comfortable, healthy and happy.
Having used other care providers in the past I couldn't think of a more fitting name for this company than 'second to none'.
Thank you for your kind words, it is nice to know all our efforts are appreciated.
Where do I start? Awful service cancelled them. On Thursday the 30th May. The office manager phoned me up saying don't you think she feels she has to say this. What's he implying?? I told him to ring up the client. He then spoke to my sister who he told the phone call got a bit "heated". I then spoke to my sister and said about this and I said did he tell you why? Later that day a carer turned up at my friend's and the next day the owner turned up saying they were still coming. My friend phoned me up in a right state saying don't want to be alone this is a vulnerable person who they are intimidating by keep turning up. And then this morning another carer turned up 4th June. I have all the correspondence I can show saying no longer need their services. This is how they are treating their customers, it is appalling and needs shutting down. The adult social care/council CEO is involved and well aware of what's going on, as they are included in every email. I have opened a case with the ombudsman and CQC now.
Thanks for your review, much appreciate any feedback good or bad to ensure we are able to provide the best service possible. We have always been open and transparent. The support that we provide is in line with CQC regulations and local authority policies as well as our own.
The ladies that work here have been amazing in looking after my Mum who has suffered from Alzheimer's for a number of years. As her care needs got greater so did their level of care. The ladies are all very friendly and genuinely caring. Helped my Mum with meals, medication and personal care. They made a massive difference to both my Mum and I. Sadly my Mum now needs 24-hour care so is going to residential. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these lovely ladies.
Thank you for your lovely comments, we really appreciate them and will pass them on to the staff.
It was a pleasure to look after your mum, she is a lovely lady and all the staff that went into her loved going.
We hope that everything works out for her now she has moved into residential care and wish you well in the future.
Best Regards
All the care team.
Mum has used this service for a couple of years now. I have no qualms in recommending the staff at all. They have been a life-saver to me and Mum. It is run professionally and well. (I have experienced many carers and care homes so this is big praise!).
Thank You for your comments, they are greatly appreciated.
