I realise that I will not need them forever but because of their professional way of treating me, they have made this transitional period far easier for me to cope with.

We have found Meridian to be a reliable, professional and helpful company. They employ well trained, friendly staff who liaise with me daily on the weekday visits and give updates on healthcare when needed. They also help me with my wife's medication and G.P. follow-up when required. They are very patient when dealing with dementia patients and always give plenty of time to make my wife feel comfortable and safe.

The carers were always kind and respectful, listening to her and family wishes throughout her initial recovery, and later deterioration. Despite the difficulties of a pandemic and general care shortage more recently, they ensured a quick, flexible and reliable response to her renewed need for care. It was reassuring for us to know she was in good hands.

After initial reservations, our friend looked forward to their visits and still talks about them after moving into residential care. Choosing Meridian Care was definitely the best decision we made.

We are very grateful for the high quality of care, compassion and support that Meridian provided for our father during his last few weeks. We were very struck by the professional yet empathic manner which was consistently shown by all of the carers towards not only our father but also to our mother, who had been his carer for so long during this difficult time. The consistency of carers ensured that they were able to build a trusting relationship with our parents, which bought them both great comfort and reassurance. Any queries or questions were dealt with swiftly by the very helpful office team. We would recommend Meridian Community Care without reservation.

Meridian have looked after my Mum for just under 2 years until her recent death. The company was able to facilitate the increased care that was required from a call a day three times a week to two carers four times a day in her last weeks. The office staff have always been responsive to any requests and any issues that have arisen have been dealt with efficiently. At the start of the Covid lockdowns I was concerned what would happen but they continued to provide their excellent service in a safe manner. Being a carer isn't just a job, the Meridian carers are wonderful, dealing with my Mum in a respectful way. They were kind and warm, there was a lot of laughter as well but they always performed their duties in a professional way. My Mum was resistant to going into a Care Home wanting to stay in her home until the end, Meridian help us to achieve her wishes which I am very thankful for.

My Father needed support for his personal care and we mostly had a consistent team of three carers who supported him over this last year as his health declined. I am hugely grateful for their care and support, as initially, it lifted this stress from my Mum, then gave me the chance to work, as well as care for my Dad at home, until he passed at the end of this year. Despite Covid, the carers kept working safely, and my parents felt well looked after and safe and much enjoyed the care, conversation and friendship they brought.

Following a fall (my own fault) at the beginning of June 2020, I suffered a dislocated and fractured right shoulder, leaving me quite disabled. A friend and neighbour recommend Meridian and set the process up for me. During a period of two months, I have received excellent support and assistance from all the carers, which has greatly helped my recovery. I have also appreciated their kindness and friendship. I would strongly recommend Meridian Care to anyone in need of help and assistance.

Meridian Community Care has looked after my sister for a number of years and has at all times proved themselves to be caring and professional the inevitable occasional problems were sorted out immediately and effectively. My only regret is that, due to our location, Meridian were unable to provide the "last-thing-at-night" care and the "two-carer" calls that my sister needed towards the end of her life. My sister was very happy with the help she received, which enabled her to maintain her life securely and comfortably in her own home. I would definitely recommend this company.

Meridian has shown complete professionalism in its delivery of care to my Mum. Carers are both kind and considerate. They adhere to medical directives from authorised personnel. Meridian Community Care provided excellent care for my mother since she suffered a stroke in late 2016, which resulted in early vascular dementia. Initially, my mother was very accepting of the carers but as her dementia progressed she could be very difficult (it was good that for the morning and lunchtime visits the carer was the same person - except on holidays, of course). A good trust was built up between my mother and the carers and if there were any issues, management dealt with them promptly, kindly and efficiently. Following a nasty fall when she was on her own, mother went into a care home in mid-April as by this time she had gone down rapidly and was not safe to be left alone at any time; her hygiene had gone downhill and she was unable to care for herself.

I would not hesitate to recommend Meridian Community Care.

The carers from Meridian Care have made a huge difference to the quality of life, dignity and health of my Aunt. The whole team have patiently taken time to get to know her, to understand her complex needs and thereby gain her trust and confidence. This has not always been easy but they have persevered and been proactive in making countless suggestions to improve her care. I have found the staff in the office to be very accessible, caring and thoughtful in coming up with solutions to most problems that occur.
