Meridian are amazing. They cared for my dad for more than two years with dedication, humour and real compassion. They made him feel safe and supported, and they guided me through the whole process of looking after him at home. Through those ups and downs they became part of the family, giving us the benefit of their years of expertise and most importantly their genuine kindness. They really care, I couldn't have asked for more.

Two years into care from Meridian and very happy. The small team are personable, respectful and lovely humans. They care for Dad brilliantly and nothing is deemed to be too much trouble. They feel more like an extension of our family than paid care. I live away so I have to have a company I can fully trust. I know that he is being looked after and they are quick to flag any potential issues before they become an actual problem. No complaints to speak of whatsoever. And I have tried a lot of care companies over the years with both parents plus I've done assessments of care services as part of my job. So, I'm a very harsh critic and incredibly hard to please!

Could not recommend Meridian Community Care highly enough in supporting my mum who has mixed dementia. The staff are very friendly, and compassionate and they use their skills to ensure all of her needs are met and the care plan is followed with both respect and dignity. Having the same carers arriving at the same times each day means a trusting and friendly relationship has been embedded and continues to blossom. Nothing is too much trouble and their whole set-up puts our minds at rest in the processes and regime in place for mum.

We have been using Meridian Care for about eight years. My husband is in his nineties and gets very anxious if routines are not followed and things become unpredictable. It is particularly helpful, therefore, that there are just three carers who look after him and that they understand his needs so well. They are very good at coming at the scheduled time and it is very rare that the time of an appointment has to be changed. The care they give him is excellent and they carefully follow the arranged protocols. My husband and I are very happy with the service and have no complaints.

Meridian Care have supported my elderly mum for almost three years in her own home, assisting her to maintain her independence in a respectful but friendly manner. I have nothing but the highest praise for her dedicated team of carers; they are reliable, cheerful and caring - in fact nothing ever feels that it would even be too much trouble for any of them. The fact that Meridian ensure that she has the same carers on a regular schedule has really helped mum to build a trusting relationship with her small team and, in turn, it means that each of them understand her needs, including her drive to be as independent as possible within her physical limitations. They always put a smile on her face, even when she is feeling a bit down, and are a valuable link to the outside world which enriches her life even more. It’s lovely to hear them laughing and joking together when I pop in. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anybody - thank you for everything you do.

From my experience, I would happily recommend Meridian to someone seeking home care.

Personally, I feel that the money spent on Mum's care is very well invested - but I haven't provided a rating simply because I am not in a position to compare like with like.

I receive excellent care from this company. My carer, having got to know me, anticipates my needs and I couldn’t ask for more. They are very efficient and at the same time reassuring in their care. They are a very cheerful and comforting way to start the day.
