I'd refuse it, because I didn't think I was the 1 needed, but that it was my husband.
Now that I'm receiving it, my life has become more easier as I was getting help.
Mobility wise I'm not good and struggled for a very long time.
With the help of my wonderful carer, she's so kind, passionate and warm and very caring, my mornings is no longer a challenge to get ready for the the day.
Thank you soo much.
Thank you for your kind review, we will share your feedback with the team.
The team at Oxford House are efficient, very responsive and have good communication, particularly the Oxford House manager who always goes above and beyond.
Thank you for your kind review, we will share your feedback with the team.
I usually was given a regular carer assigned which made it easier for me as the carer got to understand my needs and I also got used to them. One of the questions my social worker used to ask on reviews was if I had the same carer assigned to me and I would say Yes. They understand I get breathless and stressed at times and having a regular carer helps ease this, but lately for almost a month I've been getting different carers and my times are not always the right times. I find myself having to keep ringing the office to correct them even though I may have already informed them. I do understand at times if someone is off or emergencies occur they'd have to get someone else to step in for a day but now I must have 2 or 3 different carers in a week every week. I also get anxious when somone new comes to shower me I then refuse shower. I've never seen it this bad throughout my years with them
I am sorry to hear that recently your experience has not been in keeping with the high standard of service you have...
Oxford house provide care to my mother who is in her nineties. It has been essential that she has regular carers at set times of the day which has been achieved and the predominant carers for my mum are seen very much as her friends, which has worked perfectly. There have been occasions when I have had to ask Oxford house to provide urgent care due to giving medication after a hospital visit at very little notice and the request was always handled in a very calm, no worry, we will sort manner and they did which was fantastic. I live an hour and half away from my mother and so if there has been an urgent need for an unexpected visit because for any reason I am worried they are there always which is brilliant and I know my mothers needs and care are the first thought of the care that they provide. I would highly recommend.
Thank you for kind and thoughtful review. We will share this with our team.
My daughter Lorraine thinks carers go above and beyond especially Denise, kind, caring and always helps me. I love to see her every day. Denise helped me yet my home in order she's lovel so are all the carers.
We have awarded Denise Carer of the month to acknowledge her hard work and dedication.
I am writing as a patient's wife to record our experience with Oxford House Community Care. Throughout the period of their involvement, we found the service to be consistently below the standard expected for regulated care.
The carers frequently arrived late or outside the agreed times, which caused disruption to essential routines and placed additional strain on my husband's health. Several members of staff appeared untrained or unfamiliar with basic care requirements. On multiple occasions, staff entered and searched areas of our home without our consent or proper explanation, which caused significant distress and was wholly inappropriate.
These issues created avoidable stress for my husband at a time when he is already managing serious medical conditions. The conduct and inconsistency of the care team contributed to a deterioration in his wellbeing and eroded our trust in the service.
We are not satisfied .
We have thoroughly investigated all allegations raised against our staff and service and found them to be without merit.
We note that this review is part of a pattern of coordinated negative reviews posted across multiple platforms. As previously communicated, we have exhausted all appropriate channels for addressing your concerns and we will not engage further in this matter.
My team of carers were well qualified, caring, kind, understanding, attentive, happy and chatty excellent band of carers. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always happy to help wherever they could. It was with great regret we had to leave their care as we moved to live with my daughter and grandchildren.
Wishing you both the very best in your new home.
My carer, Sandeep, has always shown initiative, picked up a routine quickly, the ability to be flexible, and always smiling. I recommend the company without reservation
Thank you very much for your Review. We are please to hear you are happy with our service.
I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with the unprofessional behavior demonstrated by this healthcare company. They falsely accused of being aggressive and swearing at one of their staff members - an allegation that is completely untrue and without evidence. Me always maintained a calm and respectful manner, especially in professional interactions.
To make matters worse, the company's manager deleted important messages that were shared with him, as if to erase the truth of the situation. How can a manager claim not to see or acknowledge messages that were directly sent to him? This level of dishonesty and denial is shocking. I have never encountered such an unprofessional owner or management team in a healthcare organization.
It is clear that the company not only failed to provide the required care services but also refused to take responsibility for their own shortcomings.
We have thoroughly investigated all allegations raised and found them to be without merit. Our comprehensive internal review, including communication logs, staff reports, and documented evidence, confirms that all interactions were conducted professionally and in full compliance with CQC standards...
Farida comes most of the time, does a good job with Joe. Kamjic sometimes comes on the weekend and does a good job as well. Joe is used to the two coming.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We're really pleased to hear that our carers are doing a good job and that Joe feels comfortable with them. Consistency and quality of care are very important to us, and we're glad to know the team is meeting your expectations.

Having had experience with a former care provider, we now know how professionally run Oxford House is. The carers are fully trained and are very helpful to my husband, along with myself. Attention to detail, I.E., changes in medication, etc., are maintained by the office staff and also by the carers who let them know if he is unwell or needs to have a visit from a district nurse. We feel really safe and happy with the carers and staff, and have a laugh and chat each visit, which is very helpful mentally.
It means a great deal to us to know that you feel supported and comfortable with our team. Knowing that our carers and staff are making a positive difference to you both is incredibly rewarding, and your feedback will be a great encouragement to the whole team.- Oxford House Team

I have no complaints about the carers. It's the time they come I complain about and also a carer that can't get down to fully wash my legs. The carers themselves are very cheerful and brighten my day.

I have been impressed and very thankful for the level of personal care and attention given and my wife during the last 3 months before she died. She was fed very patiently when possible and changed regularly, not a pleasant time.

She has been through so much with previous carers, and the difference since being with Oxford House has been truly life-changing.
They are not just carers to us,they have become like family.
My mum has built a bond with all the staff and so have i.
The kindness, respect, and genuine care they all show my mum every single day mean the world. It's not just the way they look after her physical needs, but the warmth and companionship they bring into her life.
She feels safe, valued, and happy, and that is priceless.
From the carers to the office staff, every single one of them has been incredible. Their dedication, professionalism, and compassion never go unnoticed. Even down to how they always keep me informed of any concerns, ensuring that my mum gets the best possible care. Knowing she is in such good hands brings me so much comfort.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt words. It's an absolute privilege to care for your mum, and we're so grateful to be part of your lives. Knowing she feels safe, valued, and happy means everything to us. Your kind words will be shared with the whole team-they'll be thrilled to hear them! We're always here for you both.
