Mum is over the moon with the care she is receiving. She is usually a very independent person however she is currently in unbearable pain waiting for a hip replacement which has significantly decreased her mobility.
She has carers once in the morning and once in the evening for 30 minutes to assist with washing/dressing/applying creams and helping with her compression stockings. Twice a week the call is for an hour and they assist her to shower.
She enjoys the company the carers provide and has positive comments on all the carers who call.

It has given us peace of mind that she is now not struggling as much as she was before and that she has someone to check on her regularly.

Pramacare have been providing care for my sister-in-law since March 25
She lives alone and has dementia and physical disabilities which means she needs help in all areas of everyday life.
The management team and carers have been wonderful, she has been treated with such care and dignity gaining her trust and ours.
They have kept us informed and always have time to talk and answer our concerns- very important to us as we live abroad and can only come over 4-5 times a year.
It is very clear that their main priority is my sister-in-laws wellbeing and the personal care plan is very respectful taking into account that she has lived independently for a long time and now needs some help to be able to live at home.
The locality manager and office manager clearly have years of experience in the care section and I have every trust in their judgement and advice.

Thank you all

My father has been looked after by the wonderful carers and management team at Pramacare since Nov 2023 following the death of my lovely mum. Dad, who suffers from dementia, is treated with kindness and dignity from all the carers who visit him on a daily basis. It's been a pleasure for me as his daughter to work with the team at Pramacare to ensure all my father's care needs are met and enable me to have a big part of my life back and give my dad some independence to live at home safely.

A massive thank you to the Pramacare team and Dad's Account Manager, for all your help to enable Dad to carry on living at home and for me to be his daughter again.

Since April of this year, Pramacare has been a much-needed help. Following a fall I needed personal care assistance with showering, dressing, laundry, and house cleaning, as well as shopping as mobility limited. The carer was punctual, courteous, conscientious, and helpful in all aspects, which has helped my progress enormously.

Reply from Katy Robinson, Recruitment Coordinator at Pramacare

I'm so glad to hear that Pramacare has been such a valuable support for you since your fall. It sounds like the care you've received has made a real difference in your recovery and daily comfort. Having a reliable, punctual, and considerate caregiver can make all the difference, especially when...

Prama cared for my husband's grandad for many years, he was diagnosed with Dementia and slowly declined over the course of his care with them.
Prama listened and supported him, providing regular carers so he became familiar and they understood how his routine was important to him. They were also alert to his COPD, which caused him to need additional medication when he had flare-ups, and were prompt in spotting his signs. They took time to get to know him and would remember all those small details which made him feel comfortable with having extra help in his home, this was especially important as he was a gentleman from an era where no one grumbled or complained.

Sadly due to advanced age and medical complications, he had to be moved and was in receipt of social care, this truly highlighted how special Prama carers are, as the agency that saw him in his final months did not match their levels of personalised care and compassion. Thank You Prama!

Pramacare provides a fantastic service to the Poole community. It is great that their carers are paid a living wage and travel costs. All mum's carers have been very kind, very professional and during lockdown - very safe.

I am 65-years-old. I haven't looked after my feet or toes very well over recent years. Recent damage to nerves in my right hand, my dominant hand, with weakened strength in my fingers and thumb meant trying to cut my nails with my left hand. This has been difficult. I was recommended Pramacare and got in touch. My first experience of the nail care worker’s visit to me was faultless in every respect - professionalism, safety (Coronavirus and general infection control), care/attention, friendliness, politeness and advice on observed matters for me to refer to my GP (fungal problems on both go my big toes). Before the first visit, I was prepared to become embarrassed about the state I had let my toes get to. But this didn't happen. She is a great ambassador for the Pramacare organisation. I hope many other clients/customers feel the same as me and that the Pramacare organisation are very proud of her. I am assured and comfortable with my second and subsequent appointments.

Care - domestic, 1.5 hours per week from August 2019, and an additional half-hour per week personal care Dec 2019 to Jan 2020. During COVID-19 lockdown, fortnightly hair-wash included in the 1.5 hours per week care.

I have been well satisfied with the care given together with punctuality and reliability ie substitute always provided when regular carer unable to attend.

I am extremely pleased with the carers coming to me. Each one is willing to help out with odd jobs in the flat, nothing is too much for them to cope with. They almost always arrive dead on time. I do what I can preparing meals, but they are always glad to see to what I have in mind for lunch and tea. As far as breakfast is concerned I usually have cereal at 7 am whilst watching an early television news - well before the first carer arrives. Pramacare carers all seem to be devoted to their work and they are clearly devoted to this calling.

Pramacare has been attending to my mother for over three years. The staff are all diligent, polite and hard working. The backroom staff are very helpful and always go the extra mile to resolve any issues arising. We are very happy with Pramacare and would recommend their services to anyone without exception.

Pramacare have always tried so hard to meet my needs. Their carers always listen to their clients and carry out requests on the need for help cheerfully. When I'm not feeling well, they are like a little ray of sunshine coming in to brighten up the sky. I have always found my carers to be well trained and courteous. Likewise the office staff, always there to listen and do their utmost to help.

An organisation like no other. One that devotes its strength to the needs of others. Where else would one find such a one? They are saving me many a worry and anxiety with helpful insight and advice. Now my ability is limited, no criticism is levelled, only understanding, patience and a helping hand. Helping me to help myself.
I cannot find real fault only admiration.
Thank you Pramacare and thank you for thinking to give me a most beautiful bunch of flowers and card for my birthday! Very thoughtful, very kind.

Talking to my son over plans how best to assist in the house or generally is an excellent idea.
