Mum's quality of life has been raised tremendously by daily visits from the Rowan House Domiciliary Care staff. The social contact alone is invaluable in addition to enabling Mum to leave the house. Shopping trips and visits to cafes and even the National Trust give welcome relief from loneliness. Mum
has made firm friends with many of the staff and they have a lot of fun together. The staff are always punctual and professional and ready to help with any chores which need doing. They are understanding of her varying difficulties from day to day. It is very reassuring for the whole family that she is being well cared for.

Highly recommend Rowan House for ALL the help and assistance shown to my elderly Mum. In the last few months we have extended her care to daily assistance which has been invaluable due to her vulnerability
It is so reassuring to know that Mum is being cared for and her wellbeing is monitored constantly.
The app is invaluable as we can pick up on any concerns the team feel need to be raised with GP and I can arrange Triage Appointments on her behalf as and when required
We would highly recommend Rowan House for the care, dignity and professionalism they extend to Mum and our family - they really do make a difference to make Mum feel safe and protected

From the time my husband returned from hospital, Rowan House Domicilary Care carers have come regularly to help with personal care and cleaning. All their staff have been kindly and competent, and when care needs changed, the manager Katie helped adjust the routines, so we had seamless assistance. I

Rowan house has provided fantastic support to Dad. All staff are punctual, kind and respectful. Dad looks forward to his twice daily visits. The staff always have a good chat with Dad, always ensure they complete their tasks and go above and beyond to complete any ad-hoc tasks that may pop up.

is really useful and gives me peace of mind to know Dad is safe, well and being looked after when I am unable to visit.

From the start myself and mum felt confident in having the staff from Rowan House take care of mums needs. She really enjoys the visits, particularly the chats which everyone seems to make time for. Both of us are impressed with the high level of care and consideration given to mums needs and the
dignity with which she is treated. The carers are well trained and nothing is too much trouble. The app is great for keeping in touch with how things are going as I live a considerable distance away and give me peace of mind. So pleased we went with Rowan House, fantastic in every aspect.

I have a carer in the evening to wash me in the parts I cannot manage myself (back etc.) The girls are all lovely. I look forward to seeing them. I am 95 years old, and I appreciate their gentle touch and the little chats we have; they mean so much to me. Thank you so much, Rowan House.

Carers call on Dad 3 times a day. Reassuring that someone sees Dad and I can see up-to-date information on his daily visits through an app on my phone. The girls are always on time and very courteous and respectful with Dad. If he runs out of milk or any bits the girls will offer to get some for Dad.
From the comments on the app Dad and the girls have a good chat and giggle together. Would recommend Rowan House for domiciliary care.

Mum has Alzheimers and had stopped bathing, we were getting concerned about how we could get Mum back to using a shower. Our family arranged to trial Rowan House carers to visit to start to build up a relationship and then hopefully get her to shower. After their 2nd visit, they were successful. Their
care, professionalism and dignity shown to mum has been exemplary and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rowan House domiciliary care.

The quality of care provided to my father by the carers from Rowan House Domiciliary Care has been flawless. All the carers have provided kindness and understanding to my Father and go above and beyond in every aspect of their care for him. Whenever there are issues, they raise them in their reports
using the Birdie App which keeps us very well informed.
My father looks forward to their visits every morning and evening.

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2012

Katie has worked for Rowan House since 2012. Katie worked as a domiciliary carer for many years, where she gained a wealth of hands-on care experience. In 2022, Katie carried out an administrative role in the domiciliary office, providing support for the manager.


The domiciliary manager position became available in late 2022, and Katie was the obvious choice for the role. Katie has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care. Katie is conscientious and hard-working, and is growing the domiciliary business with a great team of staff.

Jess

Jess Grabham

Job Title: Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator Joined: 2021

Jess joined the Rowan House Domiciliary Care Team in 2021 as a Carer, bringing with her over 10 years of hands-on experience in the care sector, along with a range of relevant qualifications. Jess's knowledge and dedication quickly made her a valued member of the team.


In July 2024, Jess transitioned into the role of Administrative Assistant within the office team, where she continued to demonstrate her strong work ethic and in-depth understanding of the care environment.


By July 2025, the position of Domiciliary Care Coordinator became available, and Jess was the clear and natural choice for the role. She brings a wealth of experience and insight to the office, supporting both staff and clients with professionalism and care. Sacha Nelson

Job Title: Administrative Assistant Joined: 2024

Sacha is the newest member of the Rowan House Domiciliary Office team. She originally joined the Rowan House Domiciliary Care Team as a Carer in January 2024, consistently demonstrating kindness, compassion, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.


With previous experience in administrative roles, Sacha successfully transitioned into the position of Administrative Assistant when the new domiciliary office opened in 2025. She has integrated so well into the continually growing team and quickly proven herself to be a valuable asset.


Sacha is known for her caring nature, professionalism, and strong work ethic, making her a welcome and trusted member of the office team.
