SSA Quality Care provides services to keep people safe at home. In practice, this means anything from popping in to check someone’s ok, to complex care needs with multiple carers, and even live-in care. Their dedicated team work from 7:00am to 10:00pm every day of the year.

SSA Quality Care has been providing home care to the local community for 15 years. They are a friendly, family-run company that prides itself on keeping people safe and independent in their own homes.

Their carefully selected staff are directly employed. They will help as much as needed, whilst encouraging customers to do as much as they can themselves. All staff promote dignity and independence in everything they do.

All customers and their families can access visit records in real time via a dedicated web-portal. You can see which Carers have logged in and what tasks they have completed. They will also let you know each week who is coming and when.

If your regular planned Carer is not available they will make sure you still get a visit.

SSA Quality Care support privately funded customers, as well as customers funded by the local council, by direct payments, and by the NHS.

SSA Quality Care have been looking after me at home following the completion of hospice care's excellent 12 week programme on the 2nd February 2025. SSA's team of lovely lady carers provide wonderful help and support to myself and to my husband with all my intimate personal needs, although my husband
can handle all aspects of the commode when we are on our own. Without all this I would not be able to have as full and enjoyable a life as possible, here at home, following the cessation of my cancer treatment last October, which left me with severe fatigue and weakness (ongoing) and nausea (now treated with daily medication, enabling me to eat well and enjoy my food). My husband and I look forward to every SSA visit, which helps the day go round, and share lots of laughter with the carers, who all have lovely smiles, a sense of humour, perfect manners, a willingness to help in anyway, and are backed up by excellent service from their Aylesbury office. We could not be more grateful and thankful for this wonderful service.

As a family we are incredibly grateful for the kindness, patience and compassion shown to our mum by your lovely carers. Their gentle approach, respectful attitude and genuine care made a world of difference to us and to mum.
Mum was always consulted and treated with dignity, your carers took time
to listen, support and brighten both mum's and our day.

SSA Quality Care are the best care company I've had, they are courteous,professional & you can have a laugh & a joke with them. They are professional enough to supply a rota every Friday giving you the times of attendance and the attending carers.
I've personally had them go above & beyond on occasion
when I've fallen ill and require help.
I have no reservations about recommending this company.
Management will visit to check on my care and discuss any concerns I may have as well as if I require changes to my care plan.

I have been receiving care from SSA Quality Care for the past six months, and my experience has been consistently positive. The team is exceptionally professional and demonstrates a high level of friendliness and respect. They always ensure that I feel treated with dignity, and each visit includes a
few moments of warm companionship, which I truly appreciate. The caregivers are consistently attentive, taking the time to check if there is anything else they can assist with before they leave, ensuring that no request is too small or troublesome. SSA have been both excellent carers and a watchful friend to my aged mother. She is well looked after while still living alone in her own house. SSA have proven to be responsive and flexible in working with my mother and me.

My son is very happy with his carers. He has the same carers all the time, which is good for him. He doesn't like different people all the time. He enjoys swimming and bowling and they help him with every day tasks.

Happy with the care I have received so far from this care provider. Especially with my experience in the quality of care that I previously received from other care providers, including my recent care home experience. The carers with SSA are super-individuals with hearts of gold, who are ever ready to

Excellent care. Timings are sometimes not always on the allocated time, but then if another client needs some extra care, there was no change in the care my mother was given. The staff are always cheerful and very communicative with all the family. The carers gave my mum the confidence and gained her
trust after I can only describe it as poor care in the hospital. They encouraged her to walk again, supporting her both emotionally and physically. They introduced themselves to my mum and became friends, yet still maintained their professionalism. As an ex-nurse, I would be proud of the standard of care that the team provide.
The staff from the office were easily contacted and phoned to see how we were getting on.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company and have already done so.

On the whole, the service is ok. I would like more consistency with the carers who come to my home. I believe the evening carers do not fully complete the 30-mins and are gone before that time. I feel you have lost some of your better staff and the new replacements are not to the standard of those lost.

My carer is a day-to-day lifesaver! Without her help, I wouldn't even be able to do the everyday things others take for granted. Not only this, but I haven't self-harmed in a long time! Whether it be everyday tasks or I'm in a mental health crisis, she is always there to calm me down, help me, and leave
me feeling better than I did before. Not only has this increased my safety and wellbeing, but it has also eased the burden on my loved ones. Everyone is happier because of her... thank you!

Kai has been with SSA Quality Care for 3 years after a short stint in sports therapy and strength and conditioning, whilst also playing professional rugby league for Hemel Stags and London Broncos.


Kai assesses and reviews care packages, line manages care staff and also completes in-house training, ensuring care staff are performing at their best.


Kai is also an actor, having been featured in productions from Film4, S4C, BBC and Netflix. In his spare time he enjoys automotive detailing and anything car related. Kai also enjoys listening to all types of music.
