Since switching to Sussex Grange Home Care for my Uncles day to day home care visits, we have seen a significant improvement in his day to day care. The staff go above and beyond what is expected. I live a couple of hours away so I am unable to visit on a regular basis. Communication is fantastic and my Uncle gets on really well with all the staff. We really appreciate the staffs support seeing as I live so far away. I would highly recommend Sussex Grange to anyone who is looking for caring support.
We all know that a sneaky sausage roll...
Sussex Grange Home Care came to our rescue at short notice to help my 87 year old father come home from hospital. The service was very flexible and adapted to our changing needs. Initially care visits were arranged twice a day, reducing to once and day and then twice a week, as my father regained his strength. We were notified which carer would attend in advance, and all of the carers were lovely. Senior staff were readily contactable and made helpful suggestions to my brother and I. We would definitely recommend.
It was lovely listening to his stories of how he travelled the world playing music and dance classes with his lovely wife, he shared so many happy memories with the staff.
The Carers at Sussex Grange looked after my father at home for a considerable time with his complex health needs and they were all compassionate, patient and understanding of his needs.
Nothing was too much trouble for them and my father looked forward to their visits.
The Carers were also very supportive towards my mother and her wellbeing too.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Carers at Sussex Grange.
Thank you for such a lovely review, it was such a pleasure caring for your dad, he was such a gentleman and always like to have a chat with the carers. The staff used to love listening to their stories of their romance and life together. I know that the staff would ensure that your mum was safe and had a nice cup of tea on their visits. Such a lovely couple.
Nothing is too much trouble and the staff go above and beyond to make sure she feels safe and looked after. Mum looks forwards to their visits and feels happier in her home .
I know that the staff enjoy visiting your mum, and having a nice catch up with her.
It is also nice to see, that day by day she is starting to regain her independence and confidence.
Perfect in everyway
We hope that he settles well in his new home, I am sure that he will get some visitors.
Their carers attended three times a day and consistently showed warmth, professionalism, and respect, not only towards Mum but towards our whole family. They supported her through incredibly challenging circumstances with sensitivity and understanding, and their reassurance meant more to us than they will ever know.
Knowing Mum was being cared for by people who truly valued her as a person, not just as a patient, brought us great comfort. We will always be deeply grateful for the role Sussex Grange played in allowing Mum to remain at home, surrounded by love, during such a difficult time.
We all have our own fond memories of your mum, and we will miss our chats and laughs with her, such a special lady, who was a devoted wife, mum and nan to her whole family.
I know that her grandchildren gave her so much pleasure and she enjoyed their daily visits.
We are now looking forward to them providing further care and support as mum is shortly to be discharged from hospital to join dad at home.
Thank you for such a lovely review, it is such a pleasure looking after you dad, some days his headmaster head comes on and he lets us know exactly what he needs. He is such a gentleman and such a caring husband, he has been longing to get is lovely wife home from hospital. He has so many...
When my husband came out of hospital after a 10 day visit, we were given 10 days + NHS funded care 45 mins every morning. Sussex Grange provided this and I found their service and attention to detail excellent. I have had carers back in 2023 through a different agency and S Grange was far better. For example they sent a rota with the expected time and name of the carer. This was a great help. They phoned if they were going to be late.
Thank you for your lovely review, it is such a pleasure to be looking after your husband. We like to ensure that our clients are informed if the staff are running a bit late, as we know that our clients worry about the staff like we worry about themIt is such a nice compliment that you are pleased with the care and service that we provide.
We. Were treated with friendlyness and care at all times nothing was too much for any of the members of staff and they would all go the extra mile to make sure that we were well looked after .I would recommend this place to anyone looking for home support the care was exceptional and well appreciated thank you all at the grange for your time and well needed help and hope we can always stay InTouch with you and your lovely carers
Thank you for your lovely review, it was such a pleasure to assist you in your own home, after a very long spell in hospital. I know that all the carers enjoyed visiting you both. It was so rewarding to see your progress in the time that we cared for you.We look forward to seeing you both again in the future.
We can't thank you enough for all the kindness and help you all have given my sister over the last seven months of care. The consideration and thoughts for all her needs was of the highest standard.I would highly recommend Sussex Grange home care to anyone in need of this type of service.
Thank you for the lovely review. It was such a pleasure looking after your sister, she had a very good sense of humor, always made the carer's smile. Her fantastic catch phases, which I won't repeat on here, always made me smile, such a strong personality.I really hope that she settles in her new environment, I know I can speak for the whole team, we are going to really miss her.
Very flexible care helped enormously towards being able to look after myself.
Very. helpful, knowledgeable and friendly carers who could turn their hands to any task.
I was sad to say goodbye.
Fully recommended
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased that you recovered well from your operation, and got your independence back. Enjoy your new property with more independence.
The carers and management team not only supported our dad but also us as an entire family. They gave us regular updates on our dad's condition and talked us through potential solutions and ideas to make things easier for him. Towards the end of his period of home care, the kindness and compassion shown by the entire team was overwhelming. Even when our dad was admitted to a hospice, the team still wanted to visit him and genuinely cared about his condition. The Sussex Grange team were not only carers to our dad but also some of his best friends. We will be forever grateful for their support at such a difficult time.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. I can honestly speak for all the care staff, your dad was such a special man, they are as fond of him as he is of them. He used to chase the geese away from the van when a certain carer visited him, as the geese scared her. He made the carers smile every...
He was treated with dignity at all times and nothing was too much trouble. Whether that meant carrying out personal hygiene or making a cup of tea or just having a chat!
A big thank you to all the carers & others that made the last few months of my father's life more comfortable, for both of us.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Sussex Grange homecare services.
Thank you for your lovely review. Your dad was a very interesting man, he would talk to the staff about his days of building boats and even selling them.Your father was a true gentleman and built up a good repour with the care staff, they were very fond of him. It was an absolute pleasure knowing your dad and delivering care to him.
My mum has received excellent care from Sussex Grange Home Care for many years. She had four visits per day and my dad was also her carer. In early November my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I moved down from Yorkshire to help care for my parents. The staff and management were wonderful at supporting all of us. Throughout this whole horrible time, the staff were kind, professional and compassionate and they went over and above for us. The manager fought hard for Sussex Grange to be approved as the care provider for Dad in his final weeks which was his wish. Dad was very happy when this was granted. The staff cared for both my parents in their own home with compassion and dignity, even shaving dad on the day that he died as they knew this was important to him. Sadly Mum died unexpectedly four days before Dad died. The staff, especially two staff members in particular were a shoulder to cry on for me. I cannot thank them enough or praise Sussex Grange highly enough. Would definitely recommend!
Wow, what an amazing review. I would like to thank you for your kind words. It was such a pleasure delivering care to your mum, and then your dad, what a lovely couple they were. It was so nice to be able to care for them both in their home, where they both wanted to be. All the staff were very...
They were a massive support structure also to myself and my mother in the last remaining weeks of his life, offered that supportive shoulder to lean on in a very tough time.
As a family, we were truly blessed to have Sussex Grange in our lives, support with a smile, care with love, compassion and dignity throughout.
Thank you for such a lovely review. It was such a pleasure caring for your dad, he was such an amazing man. We definitely had happy and sad moments, and he always managed to give us one of his lovely smiles. As a family, you did absolutely amazing, the care and support you had for your dad, and for...
Sussex Grange supported my mum whilst I had a couple of weeks holiday out of the UK. I am Mum's primary caregiver and wanted to make sure she was looked after whilst I was away. At the preassessment, we went through everything, processes, likes, dislikes etc. The care plan was thorough and detailed. Everything ran very smoothly and Mum was happy with all the carers. It gave me massive reassurance to know that should anything happen they would deal with it. I will definitely be using them again for future holidays.
Thank you for such a lovely review. It was such a pleasure caring for your mum, whilst you were on holiday. The care staff built a very good rapport with her. They had many interesting conversations with her about different places that she had been to, Dawlish, New York, New Forrest and Mauritius....
The Sussex Grange team of home carers has been Angels in disguise for our family. At a time when our father was in urgent need of support, the team were there within 10 minutes to carry out an assessment and started supporting our father immediately. The carers are extremely professional and treat our father with compassion and dignity. Communication is excellent, with any concerns being flagged to us immediately. The team go above and beyond to ensure that our father is looked after and cared for and importantly he looks forward to their visits and trusts them. We feel truly lucky to have found them.
Thank you for such lovely feedback, it was such a pleasure caring for your dad. He showed all the staff his expertise in his engineering skills and the traction engine that he had built from scratch. Your dad was such an interesting man and the staff had many conversations with him about his working life at the airport where he worked for 38 years.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone from the care team and management looking after my mother. They have been exceptional in attending to her daily needs ensuring her comfort. The caregivers are always punctual, respectful and maintain a high level of professionalism. They show genuine compassion and empathy, making my mother feel valued and cared for. Their communication is excellent, keeping me well-informed about her condition and any changes in her care plan. They go above and beyond by engaging her in activities she enjoys and ensuring she feels at home. Thanks to an amazing team of people.
Thank you for such a lovely review. The carers built up a lovely rapport with your mother, she trusted them and even used to blow them kisses goodnight. It was an absolute pleasure caring for your mother, at times she kept the carers on their toes, which brought a smile to their faces.
We are all as a family really happy with the level and quality of care offered by the Sussex Grange Home Care team to Dad over the last 2 years, it has given us great peace of mind and has enabled Dad to continue living independently at home. Thanks to everyone on the team for all you have done and continue to do for us.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is an absolute pleasure caring for your dad, he often speaks about his interests when he used to go sailing, and how he was a big part of the local Lifeboat volunteer team. I know that the carers are very fond of your dad, they all have lovely conversations with him, which brings smiles to their faces.
The manager and deputy came out to see Mum before the care started to understand her requirements. The staff were very friendly and made sure Mum received the care and support she needed in her own home, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this service.
Thank you for such a lovely review. It is so nice that we were able to support your mum in her own home, where she was comfortable. Thank you for commenting that you would recommend our service. Your kind words will be shared with all of the staff. Thank you.
