It was known and agreed at the beginning of February, when care started with Willowbrook, that my father needed to be showered, at the very least. Unfortunately, this had not occurred under the previous social service crisis care team.
Once care was being paid for, the agreement was to get dad into the shower at least once per week. Equipment should have been requested earlier in the process so that my father could have his first shower in 4 months. Previously my 81 year old mother had been his main carer and was able to get dad into the shower, on her own, and take him out occasionally.
His wellbeing deteriorated quickly as he was very uncomfortable. He asked me a number of times when he was going to be able to get out of bed, have a shower and sit for a few hours in the living room with my mother. I believe this lack of organisation failed my father.
At Willowbrook Homecare, we recognise how important personal care, comfort and dignity are to the individuals we support, and we understand how...
All staff are very helpful to my brother if any problems arise, then they contact me as soon as possible to let me know. My brother Stephen always has a good word to say about all the staff that come to him, so that's a plus, and they have been coming to him for about 7 years now
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We're truly honoured to have supported Stephen for so many years, and it's wonderful to hear that he has such kind words for our team. Keeping families informed and involved is very important to us, so we're pleased this has helped you feel reassured about his care.Warm regards,The Willowbrook Homecare Team
I have been with Willowbrook home care for the last three years. The care I have been given is excellent, from their compassion, loyalty and being there for me for these last three years, which have been rather difficult for me.
The carers are kind, punctual and attend many doctor appointments with me, and nothing is too much to ask them; they are a valuable part of my daily life. Everyone I have met at Willowbrook is incredibly kind, and I would not go to any other home care company. I truly thank you all for being nothing short of amazing.
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely feedback. We are truly privileged to have supported you over the past three years, and it means a lot to know our team's kindness, reliability and compassion have helped make things a little easier. Your words about our carers attending appointments and...
All the carers I have had during the night are lovely and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them. I was only having them for a short period for pressure relief as I can't turn over myself during the night but I am hoping I can keep them longer.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. I'm pleased to hear that you have found the care team helpful and that you recommend the service to others. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
