I needed a cataract operation which prohibited me from bending and lifting for a period of several weeks. Despite relatively short notice, Bluebird provided a live-in carer for a period of two weeks which helped us enormously. the carer was very sensitive and kind and managed the relationship with
both of us perfectly. We were also impressed that a spot check was carried out during the period to ensure that all was well. Afterwards we resumed out normal daily morning helpmate with our usual team of carers, all of whom are very helpful, kind and understanding of our issues.
The Bluebird office stays in touch and we have access online to the schedule of care visits and the carers who will carry them out and also access to the daily notes they report on their visits.
We are impressed with the level of service and the flexibility that Bluebird displays when plans have to be changed at short notice.

Bluebird provided care for my stepmother for four years, from when my father moved to nursing care. She had relied on him due to deteriorating memory. She wasn't aware she needed assistance and was reluctant to have carers as she wanted to be independent. Bluebird provided a small group of consistent
staff and were always reliable. She accepted the visits as she liked them all so much. The care increased over time, eventually to live in.
Throughout the four years I could always trust that Bluebird carers would be reliable, trustworthy and caring. The office staff were always responsive and informed me of any concerns or changes. We could discuss any issues and look for a way forward. It was challenging looking after someone in the late stages of dementia, especially for the live in carers, but they always showed such patience and kindness, often in difficult circumstances.
I'm very grateful to all the staff, thank you.

Bluebird Care have provided an excellent service with care visits, and then live-in care, for our 96-year old mother. We would highly recommend them. The carers have been efficient, caring, and a pleasure for Mum and close members of her family to deal with. They have been responsive to her requests,
and have good practical experience.


The supervisory team have been extremely efficient, and quick to respond to ad hoc requests for care changes and visit times for example. The systems work really well - the carers complete notes online after visits which are invaluable for keeping close family up to date with any issues.

My dad had a stroke in January 2024 and came home from hospital in March 2024 with extremely complex needs. Bluebird were brilliant right from the initial meeting, the carers were so kind and considerate, not only to my dad, but to the whole family. They looked after him so well for just over a year
until he sadly passed away in April. My dad was treated with care and dignity at all times. The Office Staff were really supportive to us all and helped us get through this difficult year. We are extremely grateful to Bluebird Care and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The carers always turned up on time and were courteous and kind to my husband. We couldn't have done without their help during a quite a worrying time. For that we will always be grateful. Office staff were also accommodating and pleasant when requesting changing of timetable.

I came home after fracturing my femur so had impaired mobility. I needed help with anything that demanded bending down ie shoes, socks, putting out rubbish, making beds, feeding the cat etc. The carers have been excellent, efficient, friendly and caring.I have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird

Professional and helpful service from all carers. When a change of carer is needed at short notice, it would be helpful if they could call out their names on entering the house, especially if they haven't visited before.
Hope you will review the need to charge for appointment unless a month's notice
is given to cancel. Still feel this is excessive, especially on death or emergency admission to hospital, A&E etc.

We have been using Bluebird Care for over six weeks now and have nothing but praise and gratitude for the wonderful care, kindness and thoughtfulness we have received.


All the carers have been absolutely delightful. We are advised a week in advance as to who will be attending - if there are any changes,

we are informed. The times the carers will arrive are always honoured which we have found most helpful; again, if there are to be any changes, we are informed and consulted.


Based on our experience, we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this Company.

Our experience with Bluebird Care has been absolutely fantastic. One member of staff, in particular, was so kind and helpful when we were first trying to set up a care package for my dad and has continued to check in with us during our first week. Our four carers are all absolutely lovely - I work in
healthcare myself and they are definitely a cut above the norm and the whole service has felt absolute value for money. Could not recommend Bluebird more highly if you are looking for care at home.

Called several home care agencies in the hope of getting urgent and ongoing home support for my mother-in-law after a fall leaving her on the floor for many hours.
Bluebird Care responded and although phoning at 11 am on Friday, at 1 pm a member of staff was at Mother-in-law's home to undertake an
assessment of needs. She was professional and courteous, obviously skilled in her questions in order to get the most information to provide a comprehensive care/needs plan. She was able to get an urgent care plan sorted to commence the next day at three visits per day. She looked around the house at potential risk factors and even 'smelt' a UTI, suggesting the GP be contacted for some medication, something the carers would do in the future. All in all, an excellent service - from both subsequent carers' visits (which my mother-in-law looks forward to) and from the member of staff who averted an ongoing crisis and lessened the stress levels of family members who are not local.
