Bluebird Care Burnham, Beaconsfield & Marlow

Our experience with Bluebird Care has been absolutely fantastic. One member of staff, in particular, was so kind and helpful when we were first trying to set up a care package for my dad and has continued to check in with us during our first week. Our four carers are all absolutely lovely - I work in healthcare myself and they are definitely a cut above the norm and the whole service has felt absolute value for money. Could not recommend Bluebird more highly if you are looking for care at home.

Bluebird Care responded and although phoning at 11 am on Friday, at 1 pm a member of staff was at Mother-in-law's home to undertake an assessment of needs. She was professional and courteous, obviously skilled in her questions in order to get the most information to provide a comprehensive care/needs plan. She was able to get an urgent care plan sorted to commence the next day at three visits per day. She looked around the house at potential risk factors and even 'smelt' a UTI, suggesting the GP be contacted for some medication, something the carers would do in the future. All in all, an excellent service - from both subsequent carers' visits (which my mother-in-law looks forward to) and from the member of staff who averted an ongoing crisis and lessened the stress levels of family members who are not local.

The team at Bluebird Care looked after my parents over a 5 year period. At all times, they were extremely professional, efficient and caring. They worked with us and showed complete flexibility as when required and always provided carers that matched not only our parents needs but also their personalities. I would highly recommend Bluebird to others.

I am very satisfied with the service provided by Bluebird Care. All my requirements are met. The carers are all very pleasant and greet me with a smile daily.

My father-in-law was taken ill suddenly and Bluebird Care took over looking after him and my mother-in-law when NHS homecare ended. The Bluebird managers were outstanding in their effort and patience in helping my parents-in-law, the daily carers were pleasant and attentive and all Bluebirds reliably dealt with any issues as they arose. We were very happy with the service provided.

Bluebird Care has provided care for many of our clients over the past twelve years and I have to say they are one of the most respected care providers. Their staff are well-trained, always conscientious and offer the highest standard of care. When we are asked for recommendations, Bluebird Care are consistently the top of the list.

Since I live 200 miles away, latterly her only relation and could only make occasional but regular visits, I was very much dependent on Bluebird Care between visits to 'keep the show on the road.' My mother's survival to the age of 105 is, in itself, a measure of success.

Had a few teething problems but they were acted upon immediately. The care assistance has really helped me get the right balance and improve the well-being for both me and Mum.

My carer lives up to that word. She does really care whether I'm pleased or not. When she can't obtain what I ask for when shopping, she uses her bain to buy an alternative and quite often it's an improvement. With cleaning, she gets on with it and makes no fuss or complaint. When I've complained about another carer, she has doubled her effort to put things right. She doesn't hang about chatting but actually gets on with the work, although she does have meaningful conversations towards the end of her visit. She is not critical of me despite my many faults.

My mum was very weak but desperate to leave hospital. She knew the end was near and wanted to be at home. Thank goodness I called Bluebird Care. The problems disappeared and Mum was home a couple of days later. The care she was given was sympathetic and tireless. All the carers were friendly and helpful and made me feel supported after a long time of managing alone. Sadly, my mother passed away a few weeks later. Again, Bluebird helped me deal with things and got me through those terrible hours when I felt too overwhelmed to think. I recommend them to anyone.

From the first phone call, when I called in tears to ask for help with my father, Bluebird Care has been absolutely brilliant. They managed to find the time for the deputy care manager to come and see us that day (Friday) and care was put into place for my father starting in the morning the next day! The deputy care manager was so professional, caring and extremely thorough and we felt, right from the start, that we had found the best care company for us. All the carers that we have met, so far, have been lovely, extremely kind, caring and gentle with my father who suffers from advanced vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease. It is so comforting to know that we are in such good hands. Thank you Bluebird, your team is amazing!

Bluebird Care operates an excellent care service. We have been using the for over eighteen months and would definitely recommend. Our loved ones are so important to us and they certainly give me peace of mind knowing that they care for my dad well.

I have carers coming in to see me every other day. They help me with my personal problems. I find that the carers are excellent and help me out around the house I don’t have any problems with the staff and management.

All carers are good! They are friendly and I look forward to their visits. They are well able to do all the prep and cooking of my meals as required.

All staff we met were kind and empathetic - both with my mother and also with us. The manager was able to be flexible to accommodate my mother's increasing needs and their care enabled us to fulfil Mum's wish to spend her last days at home, for which we are all very grateful.

They all have a lovely, friendly attitude which has led to trust and a genuine feeling of relaxation between us.
