We're very happy with the support Bluebird Care has provided over the last several weeks. The carers are kind and supportive and have provided exemplary care for my mother, who is very grateful for their help. The staff have also been quick to respond to our needs at short notice and flexible with respect to getting support at short notice. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

My mum has and continues to make good progress.
The main carer is very diligent and caring and is of a positive nature.
She works very hard and is proactive in suggesting activities, exercise and foods, asking me to supply ingredients so she can cook meals from scratch instead of relying on ready meals.

Bluebird provides excellent care for my mum and all members of the team are a pleasure to deal with - both those that come to her house and everyone in the main office. Mum's regular carer is particularly good at cooking her a delicious meal and she enjoys his company. Living over 3 hours away from Mum, I feel reassured Bluebird are 100% reliable and will be there to care for Mum when she needs it. The management staff are very responsive to requests, efficient and easy to discuss Mum's care with. Thank you, everyone...you are all very much appreciated.

I knew I could always rely on you to turn up whatever else was happening, be on time, cheerful and efficient. The care was always completed before leaving, often going beyond what was expected and performed in a kind and patient manner, even when Mum was perhaps not the easiest. You helped her keep her dignity and as much independence as she could have.
You were a such a great support for myself too, you give a bespoke service, nothing was ever too much trouble, never once did I feel we were too much, any problem thrown your way was solved. I could not have done it without you, you were brilliant.

Bluebird have provided excellent care for my late wife for many years. I asked them to do the same for me as I live on my own. Also, unlike other carers, they are happy to send a carer for 45 minutes rather than a minimum of two hours.

My mum has been receiving care from Bluebird for several years and regarded the carers as her second family. They have consistently shown her love and helped her keep a good degree of independence and given her companionship as well as a high standard of care. The office, too, have been incredibly supportive and efficient in liaising with the GP and pharmacy on medications where needed. Anything needed was always slotted into place so quickly. I have never had to wait for the phone to be answered. I cannot really write the peace of mind that this care has afforded me while I was at a distance. I have to say a particular thank you to the carers who were with my mum on the day of her passing, the love, dignity and gentleness that they gave to her before and when the ambulance crews arrived were as if she was their own mother. They have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty and I cannot rate Bluebird highly enough, I will always be grateful to them.

My mother was in a very difficult place emotionally and physically. My father was needing increasing support and a brief hospital stay made us all realise that my mother being the only career was not sustainable.
Bluebirds stepped in within 3 weeks to turn this situation around and the professionalism and training of each carer have been “breathtaking”.
I live overseas and to be able to keep track on the app of what the carers are doing is incredibly reassuring.

However, we just wanted to say thank you to all involved for making things work. After a week our carer is now with us and settling in. Everyone worked so hard and effectively to make sure we had the support we needed during a difficult handover and this is an immense accolade to all the staff team who worked together to achieve it. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt secure in the knowledge everything would be sorted. All at Bluebird, who we have met, are very caring, special and dedicated people and they should be very proud of what they do and how much they help and reassure 'wife' carers like myself.

I am very pleased with the quality of care my brother is receiving from Bluebird. He has a very able and kind live-in carer who is backed up by friendly and very capable visiting carers. We have used Bluebird twice now, last summer and previously in 2011. Each unbearably awful experience we were going through was helped in every possible way by everyone concerned at Bluebird, from the owners through to all carers. They are all deeply caring, committed to their jobs, and use a mix of empathy, kindness and practicality, with a dash of humour thrown in to provide light relief when needed (and this is a special skill, knowing when this will help a family in crisis, for which they should be commended). We cannot recommend them highly enough. Exceptional, customised, very much appreciated care - many thanks.

An example of the level of care: My dad was in hospital during COVID and the hospital staff could not get my Dad to eat so his live-in carer went into the hospital to feed my dad. Note, this was pre-vaccinations.

The care I received was second to none. My carer liaised with my surgery and pharmacy on my behalf, I am very hard of hearing so this reduced my stress levels greatly. She collected prescriptions, samples and medication at a time where I was unable to leave the house. She made me feel so safe and that my welfare was the most important thing during her stay with me.
