The agency has always been professional and helpful, since we started using them in June. If I've ever had any queries or questions, the staff in the office have been clear and able to solve any matters. The carers, who they have sent here to look after my husband, are extremely caring, conscientious and reliable. They use their initiative to deal with situations and I certainly cannot praise them enough. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the agency for their hard work.

It’s been more than a year of carers coming to provide care for my mum and all the carers are well-trained and experienced. If sometimes I want to change the time for calls I just ring them and they do amendments in a few seconds. The best thing is I always get the schedule week before so I know in advance who is coming. Highly recommended.

It has been really good. Got me doing a few activities. It has helped me do some cooking and keeps me healthy. We have been to the cinema and trips out. The staff are very interactive.

My mother was reluctant to have a carer however, we knew it was a necessity. I engaged Carpenders Carers and spoke with the care manager who kindly agreed to visit my mother. My mother was pleasantly surprised with how well the introductory meeting went and agreed to an initial two hours per week, that was in March 2023. My family and I are so happy, my mother loves her carer and looks forward to weekly visits. Her carer is hands-on, gentle, respectful and pleasant. Thank you so much.

Our main carers are very caring of my partner and always look after him very effectively. They are both very intuitive of his needs and respect his independence and personal space. They are helpful around the house as well as looking after him.

Friendly and flexible service to look after my wife whilst I was on vacation. Staff are trained and there is always close oversight from the supervisor. Very easy to contact with schedule changes and to discuss care requirements.

We had some issues to begin with - one particular carer who wasn't doing the job properly. However, once the agency removed this carer and replaced with our preference we have not had any issues since. The two carers we have now are very good, respectful and provide good care to our satisfaction. Also, appreciate how they have gone out of their way to learn certain things to be able to provide the things my dad prefers.

My carers are friendly and professional. After a small hiccup at the beginning, we have now got a good routine as we are now familiar with each other. They treat me with dignity and care and always ensure I am comfortable before they leave me.

The manager and carers are all very helpful. My father has developed a good relationship with the carers in a short space of time. It is helpful to have a copy of the weekly rota. The manager is easy to contact when there are any issues or as a point of contact to share changes in routine, medication, etc. She has even covered the rota when short-staffed.

In the short period of time (mid-January to mid-March) that we had carers there were some difficulties with one carer who failed to turn up on two occasions. On the whole, the carers were professional in their behavior and very good with my husband who was very disabled. Two young men, in particular, were very caring and very good with my husband.

We found this agency to be very professional and caring. They provided good quality service and was able to accommodate our mothers challenging health needs. When requested they were also able to adapt to meet the change in circumstances be it on a day to day request basis or long term needs. Very proficient and caring during a very difficult time. They treated our mother with care and dignity.

The manager has been a godsend for our family. My father has suffered from mental illness for over 40 years and since December he had been experiencing severe breathing problems. The manager and her team have taken great care of him and been very diligent in reporting any concerns regarding my father to us immediately. The manager ensures she sends carers that can cook food my father enjoys to eat and he is also taking his medication on time, which was an ongoing issue and caused multiple relapses over the past year. As a family, we are extremely grateful to the manager and her team for supporting our father and providing such excellent care to him. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs this sort of care.

Carpenders Care provides daily domestic service for my parent. The staff are prompt, efficient, friendly and helpful. The same staff visit consistently during the week, so they know their client well and they are very good at raising any concerns with the care owner, who contacts me immediately. She also visits my parent occasionally, to make sure the staff are doing a good job and to check on her client, if staff have raised specific concerns. (I've only put 'likely' for the recommendation as this is always a personal choice.)

The Carpenders team provided an excellent service for my elderly mother. The carers were wonderful and she really looked forward to their visits, the companionship and personal care that they provided. It was a pleasure to work with the manager who has a really strong appreciation of the care needs of the elderly and also a very compassionate and supportive approach for the families.

We have used the services of Carpenders Care Ltd since May 2013, and throughout that period they have always provided us with a consistently high level of service. They are easy to contact, and always do their best to accommodate any unexpected changes which may need to be made from time to time.
