Holywell's have been involved with the care of my grandson for a good couple of years now and I don't know what we would do without their help because they ease so much pressure from off our shoulders, they are easy to talk to and very approachable, my grandson's carer has become like a valuable part of the family and my grandson's absolutely adores her and we have so much trust in her and now my grandson's absolutely adores is safe and sound when in her care. The staff try very hard to please, but because the management vary the times of my visits, it makes it hard for me as I can't plan my day. I find it difficult to cope as I've had a stroke. However, the staff try their best to come at a time that suits me. Some members of staff are more helpful than others.

The care overall was good but the management was appalling. The carers never stayed for the half an hour morning and night, no longer than 20 minutes were spent with me which is disgraceful considering I am having to pay for the half an hour.

My wife has dementia, double incontinence and is housebound. She needs help with washing, getting up in the morning and putting to bed at night. She receives this service through Holywell. The two carers who visit twice a day do a wonderful job of this awkward situation, they are kind, considerate, joyful and make my wife smile. All the carers are very polite and good at what they do.
We used Holywell from May 2012 until early March 2017 when sadly my wife passed away. The care that she received was exceptional. My wife was bedbound and needed full personal care. The "girls" looked after her as though they were looking after their own parent which I will be eternally grateful for. There was always smiles on their faces and had a joke or story for my wife. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definitely recommend Holywell to anybody who needs a professional and caring set of "girls". I will never be able to thank them enough for all they did to make her comfortable in her last days.
