Holywell Care Services offers quality home care services to elderly people, those with physical disabilities, dementia, eating disorders and others who need some support to live independently in their own home.

The domiciliary care service received a 'Good' rating from Care Quality Commission inspectors in February 2018.

Individuals receiving care and their families told inspectors they had a team of regular carers with whom they had built up good relationships.

Trained, caring staff make every effort to ensure those receiving personalised care are treated with respect.

Home care services include personal care, shopping, companionship, medicine reminders and household tasks.

Holywell Care Services' TDDI service provides specialized, nurse-led care for individuals with conditions such as Epilepsy, MS, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and TBI. Tailored care packages focus on clinical needs, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. Expert, compassionate support empowers clients to live confidently and securely in their own homes.

Holywell Care Services is pleased to introduce Crisis Interventions & Parenting Support (Children and Families Community Care). This service provides timely crisis intervention and tailored parenting support to families in need, focusing on enhancing community well-being and resilience. Operating in Preston, Lancaster, and Morecambe, with plans to expand to Manchester and Liverpool, the initiative aims to collaborate with schools and local organizations to offer crucial support to children and families. The staff try very hard to please, but because the management vary the times of my visits, it makes it hard for me as I can't plan my day. I find it difficult to cope as I've had a stroke. However, the staff try their best to come at a time that suits me. Some members of staff are more helpful than
others.

Very happy with the carer, has treated me with much respect and kindness. Always greeted with a smile. Carer is very tidy and always replaces everything back as it was.
Find all carers very easy to talk to and always keep busy. All the carers are lovely and caring.

The care overall was good but the management was appalling. The carers never stayed for the half an hour morning and night, no longer than 20 minutes were spent with me which is disgraceful considering I am having to pay for the half an hour.

Carers are generally good. New carers have a lack of training and are sent without introduction.
Large turnover of staff. Scheduling is all over the place.

My wife has dementia, double incontinence and is housebound. She needs help with washing, getting up in the morning and putting to bed at night. She receives this service through Holywell. The two carers who visit twice a day do a wonderful job of this awkward situation, they are kind, considerate,
joyful and make my wife smile. Nothing is too much trouble at this difficult time for both of us. To me they are angels, they brighten the house when they are here. A big thank you Holywell!

All Holywell staff looking after my mum are excellent, I can not fault them. Their time keeping is always on time and never go early, unlike other care companies I've used in the past. They are very kind to my mum and treat her with the utmost respect.
Holywell always go the extra mile when needed.
I would recommend them to anyone.

We used Holywell from May 2012 until early March 2017 when sadly my wife passed away. The care that she received was exceptional. My wife was bedbound and needed full personal care. The "girls" looked after her as though they were looking after their own parent which I will be eternally grateful for.
There was always smiles on their faces and had a joke or story for my wife. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definitely recommend Holywell to anybody who needs a professional and caring set of "girls". I will never be able to thank them enough for all they did to make her comfortable in her last days.
