Cannot be faulted. Care as you would wish it would be. True compassion from carers and office. We have used six previous companies, ranging from the criminal to the utterly inadequate. Home Instead have true values in a market full of substandard care firms.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate your feedback and the time you took to complete the review. Lauren.
I am so grateful to the caregivers at Home Instead. We realised that my mother, who has dementia, needed some drop-in care. She was very resistant to the idea but the carers have built up her trust. They are amazingly kind and practical and help her in all kinds of ways, from giving her company to reminding her about medication. I am so grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the review. It's much appreciated, Lauren
We are very grateful for the kind and consistent care from Home Instead, ensuring we have the same carers for my 101 year old grandmother so she has continuity of care. The support office is also very efficient and helpful. Thank you!
Hi Charlotte, thanks so much. Lauren
At the moment we only use Home Instead for one hour a week but the plan is to build up. So far we have had no complaints, apart from one misunderstanding that quickly and professionally was resolved.
Dear Ley, thank you for taking the time to complete the review. I really appreciate your promptness.
Home Instead has been assisting my parents in law for a number of years and both the individual carers as well as the head office professional staff have always been extremely positive, helpful and flexible to meet their changing needs. The same carers come each week at the allocated times and are increasingly relied upon for their help, friendly smiles and company. In addition to their regular duties, the carers are always alert to any additional personal or household assistance that might be needed each time, whether it be changing hearing aid batteries or taking my mother-in-law to the shops if supplies appear to be running low. Home Instead has been an invaluable provider of help and support to my parents in law and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete the review. I do really appreciate you taking the time and your kind words. Take Care.
Although I had not used their services before, I was aware of the care they could provide.
The first phone call I made to their office in Kidlington was reassuring and helpful and a home visit was arranged within a week with their very knowledgeable care manager. An appointed case manager and carer arrived the following week at the time and day I had originally requested.
Every member of staff I have come in contact with have been polite, friendly and helpful.
The two carers found to visit my parents live locally and are very relaxed and kind. They are showing a great understanding of our family situation.
I would recommend Home Instead to anyone who feels they are in need of some extra support.
Dear Lesley, thank you so much for taking the time to complete the review. I'm really grateful for your kind words, I do hope that things continue to work so well for you. If you need anything at all, please do let me know.
Mums caregiver shows compassion, initiative, & genuine care, always keeping us informed if there are any issues. Positive relationships have been formed with Mum, & it gives us peace of mind that the caregivers are always reliable.
The new 14-day cancellation policy does make it more difficult to avoid family & carers visiting at the same time.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service and the positive comments you've given about our Caregivers and the service we offer. Peace of mind for the circle of influence around a client is one of our principal objectives. We always encourage families to reschedule visits rather than...
I have always been very impressed by the quality of individual care provided by Home Instead as well as the sensitive and responsive customer care of the organisation as a whole. In addition to having complete trust in our carer for her extremely warm, perceptive and professional service, I always know that I have access to the Care Manager who will respond to my requests sensitively and helpfully.
Dear Kate, we really appreciate you taking the time to complete the review, thank you. I hope you, and your family are well.
I am very happy with the care and support that Home Instead have provided for my mother since they have been caring for her. All of the carers are very nice and helpful and treat my mum with respect and the same can also be said of the office support staff.
I thought it was a really nice touch to have a Christmas Party for everybody. I was also very pleased my mum's carers braved the snow when we had it quite bad in early December.
Dear David, thank you so much for taking the time to complete the review. We really enjoyed hosting the party, and I'm so pleased your Mum could come. Here's to the next 'do'
She can also perform tasks which I now find difficult because I am getting older and weaker - e.g. turning the mattress.
Dear Ishbel, I really appreciate you taking the time to complete the review. I will be sure to pass your kind comments onto your Caregiver.
When I required a few days break from caring for my mother I found Home Instead were the only care provider to offer help, even though we were not current clients at the time. Since then my mother has gone on to receive care on a weekly basis plus, when given notice, have stepped in when I needed extra help in caring for her.
Dear Gill, thank you so much for completing the review. I'm really pleased that we've been able to accommodate your change in circumstances. Take Care
The service is excellent.
Dear Lal, I can't thank you enough for taking the time to fill out the review. Your kind words will be communicated to the Caregivers visiting your Mum. Take Care
Having a file where we can communicate any concerns and they can write what they have done in is extremely valuable.
My aunt has also got Home Instead help in another area of the country and they are also brilliant. A great company - highly recommend. Very valuable important service.
Dear Louise, I'm so grateful that you took the time to complete the review. Thank you for your kind words, if you need anything at all, you know where we are.
The office staff were also supportive and extremely helpful when Dad was in hospital and in arranging a plan of care when home. Professional, friendly, reliable sensitive staff. Would certainly recommend.
Dear Anne, I can't thank you enough for your kind review. Thank you for completing this so promptly.
My parents recently moved to Oxford and the two carers from Home Instead have really made the whole process much easier. They are a caring and consistent presence in their home which is much needed during this period of immense change.
Hi Naomi, thank you for filling the review out so promptly. I'm really glad to hear that the Caregivers have managed to aid your parents' move, and hopefully, helped to make the transition a little smoother.
Carers have a good understanding of dementia. They are patient and kind and work hard to reassure my father and cope with his anxiety caused by dementia and the feeling that his life is slipping out of control. They are hard working and positive and go the extra mile. I feel confident in them.
Dear Jean, thank you so much for taking the time to complete the review. I will pass your kind words on to the Caregivers. Take Care, Lauren Livingstone
Very pleased with the help we are getting from Home Instead Oxford. Reliable, kind and caring people who are making a real difference to my partner's care.
Hi Sara, thank you for completing the review so promptly and thank you for your kind words. I am thrilled that we are able to make a difference to your partner's care. If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to contact us. Lauren.
I have used Home Instead since before my wife died in 2011. In all this time I have had no serious complaints, apart from the occasional minor mishap. I have no problem at all in recommending them to anyone.
I really appreciate you taking the time to complete the review, thank you. Long may our invaluable relationship continue. Lauren.
The carers are overall very well trained and considerate towards my parents. I feel my parents are well looked after by Home Instead staff and the management is very efficient and responsive to any changes in circumstances.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete the review. I really appreciate your feedback, and I hope that you feel we continue to be responsive to your parents' change in needs.
We have been very pleased with the care provided. My mother is not always happy with new situations and people but she very quickly took to her personal carer and has been very positive about having this help. She has been particularly pleased with how hard-working and flexible the care has been and she looks forward to the visits.
Obviously, we have been very happy about this, and also by how easy it has been to contact Home Instead and how quickly any queries have been answered and dealt with. The service has been completely reliable, including over the Christmas season.
Hi Gill, thank you for responding so quickly to the review. We work really hard, no matter what the season to ensure that we continue to provide continuity and great care to the people we support. I hope that your Mother and her Caregiver continue to build their relationship. If you need anything at all, please do let me know. Lauren.
