I am a new client only been with them for a few months. I am extremely happy with the two ladies I have. They will help with any task I ask them to do. I am extremely happy with the help they provide.

Overall Experience

Following a recent stroke, I needed some help with my personal care. The carers were all very friendly, understanding and capable. They helped when needed, while at the same time encouraging me to be independent. I now have the confidence to manage on my own. My sincere thanks.

Overall Experience
My elderly mother has Right at Home for one visit each week. I find the service very reliable and professional.
The carer does some light duties for my mother, and all worked well for my mother.

Payment is easy and straightforward, and they are always at the end of the phone should I need to call them.

Overall Experience

I have needed care in my home for several years. Right at Home has always been compassionate, caring and ready to address any issue that may arise. Other agencies come nowhere close to this company. My carer is supportive without being overbearing and encourages me to do what I can for myself but is also able to pick up nuances in my mood and health.

Overall Experience

The Right at Home team have been caring for mum for over five years, and during that time have provided her with excellent care alongside always treating her with dignity and respect. The carers are conscientious and considerate of mum's needs. She looks forward to their daily calls, and they have become firm friends both to her and the family. It is very reassuring to know that mum is cared for in such an attentive and respectful way. The office staff are always very friendly, and willing to listen and help. Thank you for all your support.

Overall Experience

Right at Home Preston have been caring for my Mum for about two years now and the level of care and compassion they provide to her is invaluable and enables her to stay in her own home and be happy and content. Care workers are more like family members and go above and beyond to make her feel supported and cared for. I have daily peace of mind knowing they are there and have her best interests in mind.

Overall Experience

Right at Home have looked after our father for over three years, initially just helping around the house and for companionship but as his care needs increased he had visits four times a day and overnight. The wonderful carers were attentive and treated him with respect, always going the extra mile. Sadly dad passed away recently but they helped make his last few weeks as comfortable as possible and were also great support for all the family. Thanks for all your help, it was very much appreciated!

Overall Experience

As a family, we had to turn to using carers for Nan almost overnight due to a change in circumstances. After understandable initial readjustment, we now can't imagine her being as content, confident and safe without their help. Daily visits allow Nan to still feel independence and she describes her carers as 'lovely'. Individual carers might flag or query something if necessary (which I think is really important) and the office staff are very friendly, helpful and professional should we ever need to contact them. We genuinely appreciate them being part of how our family now operates regarding the care, wellbeing and happiness of our Nan.

The Right at Home team became friends as well as mum's carers she looked forward to them visiting twice a day for two and a half years and having banter with her the family can’t thank them enough and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needed a carer.

Right at Home cared for my mother for over five years. Mum looked forward to the daily visits from the ever-smiling Caregivers, they soon became friends. All delivered professional care and took time to make sure every need was met.

I would not hesitate to recommend Right at Home - they are trustworthy, reliable, professional, extremely caring and there is always ‘on call’ available to give advice if needed during out-of-office hours.

Overall Experience
Very good and reliable service with highly trained carers who look after and care for their patients.

The company provides a round the clock service and advises if there is a change in the routine and discusses this with their clients.

Right at Home looked after our mum for over fourteen months commencing just before the pandemic last year.
Care was provided by a number of different staff throughout the day plus a night watch. All staff were excellent, caring and compassionate without exception and mum came to see them as friends with whom she could share a wholesome conversation as well as being cared for.
Getting outside help in to look after a loved one is one of the hardest decisions you'll ever make. As a family, we were reluctant at the outset, but the standard of love and care we received was nothing short of exemplary. We never had a moment's concern throughout and can now live our lives knowing that we did our absolute best for Mum in her final year.

Thank you to everyone at Right at Home Preston - too many to mention individually, but you know who you are.

My dad needed domiciliary care before Covid arrived. We were very happy and content with the care provided by Right at Home. They took great care to ensure that Dad had accurately timed visits by the same carer, so they got to know each other very well. She became a friend to my dad. Since March, I'm afraid his health deteriorated and a period in hospital was required, followed by admission to a residential care home. He still talks about her though and I know he misses her company. If and when dad is able to return home, we wouldn't contemplate using another care provider - Right at Home would be our only choice.

Thank goodness we chose Right at Home (Preston) for my mum. The staff are caring and supportive and treated my mum with dignity and compassion. Nothing was too much trouble and they responded quickly to her changing needs to help the family. They always put her first and communication with us was excellent. The carers do such a wonderful job and we would have been struggling without them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Right at Home.

My mother, aged 89, has been a client of Right at Home for almost 3-years. Reviews have been conducted annually, and now since covid19 hit, every month. All my mother's needs are addressed and met, all is documented. Care adjusted and care plans modified accordingly. The carer involved, assist to shower and dress 3x a week. All communication is held in a folder kept with my mother, so all carers are aware of her condition and needs. Mum is treated with dignity at all times, and I am consulted as Mums main carer.

Always on hand, very friendly staff. Office staff are very helpful. Staff care amazingly for my father, always there to help when he's not well. Would recommend to other people who need carers.

Thank you to all at Right at Home Preston and South Ribble. Without the hard work and dedication from you all, a particular mention to who looked after my sister in law on the night watch, she did go above and beyond. My sister in law wanted to stay in her own home this wish was granted, sadly on the 21st March 2020 she passed away.

Overall Experience
Even though dad had dementia he came to rely on the carers and saw them as friends. He couldn't remember a lot of things but he knew someone would call in on him each day and felt safe.

A special thanks to the carer for calling back to check on dad on the day he was taken into hospital.

I have worked in the NHS since I graduated, initially qualifying as an Allied Health Professional (Dietician). I have had 13 years of Senior Manager experience in the NHS in the Community, Acute Care and Tertiary care. My last role was Head of Nursing and Allied Health Professionals at the Liverpool Women's Hospital, responsible for 450 staff.

I am passionate about Quality and Governance and led an improvement plan in the Theatres service at Liverpool Women that enabled the resumption of the Good rating by the CQC.

My role in Right at Home Preston & South Ribble enables me to bring my skills and experience to the home care sector in the area and to work with our care team to constantly uphold and improve the standard of the person-centred care we provide so that we are the 'go-to' home care provider in the Preston & South Ribble areas.
