The staff and caregivers are polite and understanding caregivers are flexible and meet the needs of my dad.
They take my dad shopping and for a walk, my dad gets on with them well. They always talk about my dad's interests and are patient.
Thank you for your kind comments - it is good to know that your Dad is getting on well with our regular caregivers.
Very helpful Carers, always kind and very polite, willing to do anything we ask. Always make us an evening meal and help to keep house tidy. Done shopping and made drinks, never left without making sure both ok.
Holistic is a term often used to describe an approach to a client/customer/patient. In the case of Home Instead, it encompasses the family as well. The patience shown to my mother, despite her often appalling behaviour was outstanding. The behaviour of each and every Carer and members of the management team was/is exemplary. Their approach offers dignity to the client and also relatives. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your kind comments. It was our privilege to have been involved with helping your Mum to remain at home for as long as possible.
Since the Carers started, they have looked after mum wonderfully. There has been a marked improvement in her appetite and weight. They have given Mum someone to look forward to seeing each day. The family are relieved that someone is with her in the morning, at lunchtime and bedtime.
Many thanks for your kind words regarding our wonderful CAREGivers - I will pass this feedback on to them. The care we provide for your Mum will always be our priority.
It's been a long winter but my mum's care team has never failed to struggle through the snow to fulfil their care visits. Mum is 93, frail and lives alone. Home Instead Carers help her to cling on to her independence treating her with cheerful kindness. I live 35 miles away and am constantly grateful for the support given to us as a family though mum's numerous medical emergencies by the office staff. Thank you to the whole team.
Thank you for your kind words. It is our pleasure to help maintain your mother's independence - in all weathers!
My father now aged 103 has received morning care from Home Instead Senior Care since he was 100. They visited for an hour, helped him to get up, washed and dressed and made his breakfast and did some basic tidying. From the beginning, I was impressed with the way in which they always took their lead from him, supporting his independence, respecting his individuality and dignity and treating him with kindness. Always having the same small group of caregivers enabled close and warm relationships to develop. I have found their managers to be easy to get hold of and very helpful. They always passed on any concerns about my father to me immediately following the visit. As my father's condition deteriorated, until he finally had to go into residential care, the carers were diligent, responsible and always ensured his safety and well-being before they left. I would certainly recommend Home Instead to anyone seeking the highest quality care for their loved ones.
Thank you for your kind words. Your father was a true gentleman and it was our privilege to have helped him remain at home into his 103rd year!
My friend recommended the company to me when my mother needed care after she had a small stroke and was unable to cope on her own. They have always been reliable, helpful, caring and respectful and with their help, it has enabled her to remain in her own home.
Thank you for your kind words - we are very pleased to know that our help has enabled you Mum to stay in our own home.
This reflects in their selection and training.
The staff are always very punctual and courteous.
We have been fortunate in having two care givers during the past three years.
Reliability and stability are important and Home Instead have recognised this need.
The management team are very approachable.
I am very pleased with the service we get from my wife's carers when bathing her.
Quite satisfactory.
Good communication between myself and staff.
Very good carers. Enjoy going out to places I haven't been able to for a few years.
Many thanks for your kind words. I am glad that you are now visiting places that you have not been to for some time.
Home Instead Senior Care provides an excellent service for my husband. The carers are kind, efficient, friendly and supportive. They have shown how they can take charge in an emergency and are always willing to help. The administrative staff are all pleasant and helpful. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone needing home care.
I am really satisfied with the service- my contact is really friendly and helpful, the office staff and everyone are very approachable.
Thank you for your very kind comments. I will ensure your team is informed.
I am very happy with my carer, she is helpful and reliable.
Invaluable service when I go on holiday because they take responsibility for his care. Excellent service.
Thank you for your kind comments. Your Father's care will always be our first priority.
Have been with this company now for over a year. The carer we have for my husband is the ideal person. He is always on time and will stay beyond the hours booked if it is necessary. My husband can be challenging on occasion but the carer has no problem in dealing with this in a very kind appropriate manner, I trust him 100%. The sign of good training and practices. The administration staff are always very polite, friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help in any way they can.
Our reviewer arrived promptly and we discussed the care provisions covered a few points that may be needed in future, and clarified the personal cleaning frequency with dad. No probing issues arose and overall we are happy with the service and care provided. Thanks.
Very helpful the carers who come to my home. The manager is very helpful and friendly, very good when doing sits to look after my wife.
My mother seems to be thriving at the caring hands of 'Home Instead' carers. She enjoys their visits, and looks forward to them. As she has got to know the carers, her daily routine has 'softened'. Thank you.

Paul and Sandra Edden are the husband and wife owners of Home Instead in Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent.
In 2005, Paul helped the Master Franchise owner to successfully transition Home Instead from its American parents to the UK as a new national provider of quality at-home care throughout the UK. Paul and Sandra had always held an ambition to work together, something many couples might find unusual! They took the decision to join the Home Instead family as franchise owners, covering the areas of Newcastle under Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent; opening their first office in Newcastle’s Iron market in 2009.
Home Instead is now based in modern offices at Trentham Lakes, with a second office in Newcastle which is used as their training suite.
They know through personal experience that when it comes to caring, there is no “one size fits all” approach, so they don’t offer one. Home Instead care is personal, tailored, flexible and adaptable as needs and preferences change. Along with their team, they are passionate about making a difference for their clients and their families together with developing a rewarding environment for their amazing CAREGivers who deliver award-winning service.
