Heritage carers do a brilliant job looking after my partner all these years. It takes the stress off me. I couldn't look after my partner without the care package in place. The girls are a lovely bunch of girls, never been let down once and the management are brilliant.

Following the quick onset of dementia/Alzheimers, the client can no longer care for herself - coupled with two sessions in hospital for a mastectomy.
A trial period with carers, Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 1 hour to deal with personal care, showering and application of skin complaint creams...
Following the quick onset of dementia/Alzheimers, the client can no longer care for herself - coupled with two sessions in hospital for a mastectomy. A trial period with carers, Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 1 hour to deal with personal care, showering and application of skin complaint creams has been fully accepted. The nurse is now an intergral part of care/treatment, assisting the husband.
Staff have been very skilled at persuading the client to cooperate. We are planning to reduce the periods to 45mins 3 times a week.

The carers really have mam's best interest at heart. They are caring and compassionate and give me the peace of mind to be able to go to work during the day. Having consistency is really important for my mum who has advanced dementia. They also do extra homework which helps me too.
