I first came across Bluebird in December '24, after I was just out of hospital, being treated for a rare and debilitating skin condition. The hospital had started my treatment and my daughter chose Bluebird, on personal recommendation, to continue it.
Bluebird provided a live-in carer, who helped me
to wash and dress, and managed all aspects of my recovery. She ran the house, including cooking, cleaning, liaised with my doctors, the hospital, ordered my prescriptions and helped me to exercise.After a 10 day stint, she was replaced by one of her colleagues. We ran this way for a period of 4.months, after which we reduced the care to mornings only.
At all times, I found the Bluebird carers to be friendly, knowledgable and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending the Company to others.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to leave a 5 Star review for Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden.
So where do I start ? there are just so many excellent points to include and I only have 1,000 characters !
To begin with, the staff.
The lady has been with us right from the start in March 2023.
She went to see mum and then discussed her requirements with mum and with the family. The care plan that she produced for our mum was nothing short of brilliant. Mum has one visit each week and the carer makes sure that Mum is fine and has everything she needs and then sorts out the house management, washing, ironing and cleaning.
Mum (and the family) could not be more delighted with our caring carers at Bluebird and, as mum always says, my bluebird visit is one of the highlights of my week and I really look forward to seeing my bluebird friends.
So, to the carer and all of the staff at Bluebird Care Eastbourne and Wealden, thank you so very much for everything that you all do for mum.

Bluebird Care Agency looked after the care needs of my mother for a few months and I am very impressed with every aspect of their service. They're extremely reliable in terms of ensuring a carer visits at the time stated, and the carers are very professional and friendly. The feedback on the care
provided to my mother is excellent, keeping me up to date when certain drugs or other care needs were required. The agency also contacted GPs and other services when required, and made sure all care needs were in place. The pricing is very reasonable and billing was accurate. Overall, I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Bluebird.

Bluebird Care provided our mother with home care for several years and their team was always consistently professional, flexible and friendly. They adapted their service to meet her needs at every step and the carers and the office personnel were such a wonderful support not only to my mother but to
the family as we navigated our mother's journey.
I truly cannot praise the Bluebird team enough, both in the field and the office, for all they did and would recommend them wholeheartedly to care for a loved one at home.

We are extremely appreciative of the excellent care given to Dad by Bluebird Care. The showering and help with morning and evening dressing have been an enormous support, helping him to retain his independence. Dad looks forward to the visits and the cheerfulness shown by the carers.

Used Bluebirds Care Eastbourne & Wealden for my elderly mother, four visits a week including showers, lunches and all forms of care. Never had any issues - they have come in with a key and dealt with Mum in a friendly, kind but professional manner, including the daily 'sing-song' as she moved further
into dementia. Sadly, my mother is in full-time care now as her dementia worsened and we will miss the visits from the staff at Bluebird who became part of the family.
Back office staff have been superb with invoices and timetables, the whole business is organised and professional.
Thank you all - highly recommended and brilliant.

We have been using Bluebird Care for several years now. Starting from my mother's recovery from a minor stroke to advanced dementia now, in her 90s.
They have always supported us wonderfully, everyday care is almost always carried out to a superb standard. Often going significantly above and beyond.
Increasing
needs have been met far quicker than we would expect. The inevitable crises that find us have been met without demur. Packages put in place rapidly and effectively.

Bluebird Care, Eastbourne was recommended to us a few years ago after my mother-in-law spent some time in respite care after a fall.
Her previous home 'carers' were anything but and we wanted better for her.
I cannot praise Bluebird highly enough. From keeping her and her flat clean and sweet smelling
to the professional yet gentle ways they treated her, always respecting her slightly eccentric preferences and wishes which stemmed from her decline into dementia.
They were obviously all dedicated to her wellbeing and happiness - from the carers who visited to the management and reception team.
They kept in touch with us regularly and were always there to help.
Because of Bluebird, my mother-in-law was able to live independently for several more years before her disease got the better of her, and she was reluctantly moved into permanent residential care in June.
Thank you, Bluebird, for enabling my lovely mother-in-law to stay in her home for as long as possible.

All the carers we have had have been kind and professional in dealing with a sometimes difficult situation. Although you only ask for a review of one month we have had carers for a number of years from Bluebird Care who have all been good apart from one hiccup, which was sorted very quickly! They have
improved on communicating with the client on any changes to the schedule of care.

When moving Dad down from Birmingham to Eastbourne, the constant back and forth from other organisations and the liaisingwith Bluebird, was a lot to take in. But the support from Bluebird, the constant reassurance and the feeling of my dad feeling empowered regarding his care, couldn't be faulted.
Bluebird
did everything they could to ensure my dad had a smooth transition and all his care needs were met. Bluebird go above and beyond to ensure my dad has the care he deserves and needs. As well as, supporting me with anything that I'm unfamiliar with.

Excellent service for my father on a daily basis to ensure medication is taken and performing various caring tasks, as required. Initially not very keen to have carers he now looks forward to visits and has very good relationships with his carers. Huge care is taken to provide team continuity so that
trust and friendships are established. The staff are always cheerful, very kind and have a wonderful manner providing daily company which I cannot do, living 4 hours away. Bluebird always goes the extra mile: concerns are reported by email with photos; I am able to address problems feeling well informed. There is always a supportive member of staff at the end of the phone for concerns, queries and requests. The staff work really hard to fit extra duties into their very busy timetable. I cannot praise Bluebird highly enough. They are courteous, efficient, kind, thoughtful and are my eyes and ears. A 5-star service helping people to stay at home.

I have found the carers and staff very proficient and kind. But there are so many things not allowed to be done since last year and of course the increase in price.

Bluebird has been looking after my mum, who is living with dementia for nearly two years now. The carers have provided an exceptional level of care, and many of them are good friends of the family now. Mum and Dad wouldn't be able to stay together without them, and I think they are amazing people. The
support and advice from the coordinator and the whole team in the office have been invaluable to me during some difficult times, and I am so grateful to have them.
